Nobodies saying this but as more and more people get augmented ammo upgrades with their primary weapon damage increase *cough cough massdriver cough cough* splash dmg is the only realistic meta with more lag and hit detect issues.
What if we nerfed all DPS again like we did in what... Uprising? Just a thought.

Wait. What? Ttk decrease as in 1sec to .75 sec? Or increase as in 1 sec to 1.25 sec.... or whatever.
I'm all for the second one i guess. Would be fun.

I was only using that as a point of reference for my question, not as actual data. But yeah, ttk seemed much longer, way back when.

Uprising, at least at the outset, had a higher TTK because there was no AA, and nobody could hit squat.
Then they introduced AA, and it plummeted.
Then they dialed it back.
The last few changes have seen increases in shield regen and armor/speed, and armor regen. They have INCREASED TTK.
The only reduction to ttk recently has been to HAVs now that they take the full force of MDs, NKs, and PLCs. And since their hight TTK was a problem to begin with, I honestly don't know where you are getting this notion TTK is decreasing lately.

Have you been armor tanking around a gal assault lately? I've lagged out to insta death with well over 600 ehp
Now I normally don't whine and I actually like that fotm but something needs to be done to bring back the heavy logi teams. Teamwork should always be op.

#bringbackgoombas #killsuperdustiobrothers Lag and TTK are separate issues. Though 600 ehp does sound a bit low for a FoTM armor-tanked Gallente Assault. Probably best to ask CPM2 to buff Gallente Assaults again.

True, however you can't go too far with it. If TTK is too short, then the benefit of fitting also decreases accordingly. While you don't want the advantage of high tiered gear to be impossible to overcome, you also don't want to make it nearly meaningless.

Strafe nerf made people exploit the y axis rather than the x axis. It was good for logi heavy teams for like 5 minutes. I respect the gun game of strafe zillas vice the air Jordan's we got now.

Fixing hit detection actually lowers TTK.
We actually had buffed eHP across the board because we had made a huge improvement to hit detection that resulted in TTK dropping through the floor |

Fixing hit detection is impossible without servers getting some tender loving care to fix the lag that's so prevalent these days. 23/7 game probably don't get alot of attention to necessary preventative maintenance. I'm sure they are ignoring alot of corrective maintenance that is just not "in the roadmap"

Shotgun, Forge, Plasma Cannon, Remote Explosives (Not always that easy to pull of granted but there are plenty of ways to get the drop on people and do em over)
The problem is new players don't even know the mechanics of the game as the game simply does not teach them! |
