Wow, 12 years have already passed for me since I graduated from high school. But I can only remember a few people from those days. Even then my memory of how they looked has become dulled over time. All that I remember of them is their names and a smidgen of how they looked like back then. This is completely opposite of how my mind normally works. I can remember faces for a long time, but their names often elude me unless they happen to have made a big impact in my life. But apparently this is not true for those few individuals I remember from those days long gone. And thus, only their names remain almost completely intact as if I just learned them today.
Interestingly enough, just last month I ran into someone at a sports bar who recognized me from high school but I didn't recognize them. I felt quite embarrassed about not being able to recognize him. I wasn't so sure what to say exactly. But me being honest, I told him that I don't remember. He didn't seem bothered by it. But apparently he and I seem to have one thing in common. We both play Super Smash Bros. on either the WiiU or the 3DS.
So here we were talking about video games in a sports bar while I was playing billiards with my closest friends. The feeling of embarrassment for not remembering this guy went away almost immediately.

Happens to the best of us. When I used to visit local bars I'd bump into people as such and be like who the crap are you!
Now I'm mostly a home body, having 4 kids I guess does that lol. I graduated high school in 2002!
The larger player base is waiting!
