I give up on CalFW man...

Alas, no matter how hard I try or how many games I play I can't ever seem to win. I get so frustrated and butthurt that I resort to afking in the mcc... Which in turn leads to more losses and more matches that I have to play and more time spent and more frustration. I was only able to make it to 92000 lp. It is now technically christmas where I live, and I have failed. I really wanted to suprise my brother on christmas day. I guess... If you can't beat them, join them. Why waste 4 months of playing CalFW for one apex suit when you could spend 2 months in GalFW and get 2 or more apex suits.

You won't get an increase in standing but you still get LP. The payout is less but you still get something. Yes, use a booster, and that will give you some more LP, but even without, you just grind them and you'll get there. I have a Hawk, Rasetsu and Samurai as well as the light and medium State Peacekeeper Marine Issue skins, all in the last few months. I've only been playing for the last 5 months or so, if I can do it so can you. The Rasetsu is sweet, by the way, well worth the effort, and is good just as it is or augmenting it with advanced gear. On the matter of never winning, I've made a number of posts on this forum about my own experiences of it - you need to squad up to win. The queuing system seems to put squads on one side against mostly solos on the other. In the rare event that you have squads on both sides, you get a decent match. But if you're in a squad, you have a chance of being against a side of disorganised solos. I've learnt that there's just no point in playing CFW at the moment, if you're not in a squad. There are plenty of GFW squads, but hardly any CFW. I think that says something, I just don't know quite what... If you're worried about losing too much gear, just run starter fits - BPOs like that aren't great in FW, but they mean you don't lose any gear. And the end result is the Rasetsu.... I think that's a fair compromise. :)

That way if you are a loyalist you could play for your faction trade the items cash out then buy what you want from the market place

To each their own , I've rarely squad in FW and I have two Cal suits , I think it has more to do with who's on and how committed you are to stick to your guns when playing FW . One of my suits I got over a weekend of playing . When you find people playing it's fun but when it's one sided it seems to take longer of course . Use a booster like someone else mentioned and still get that suit for your bro , Christmas or not ... you worked hard and have come so close to not finish . The statement of this is bad enough. Now try to figure out why? Why is noone interested in CFW? I am, but I can't find a squad either. I agree that it's best to join a squad, but when there just isn't one, what to do? It would seem that for every GFW team there has to be a CFW team, but why are all the squads on the GFW side? I know at least part of this is that there are players who switch from CFW to GFW whenever GFW is winning and then back again when everyone decides they need Caldari to win for a while. So if that's the case, clearly all we need to do is wait for the pendulum to swing back and CFW will be winning again. Until then, we just have to put up with losing practically every single battle.... :)

Idk how many Ck0s and rail riffles I see in gal factionals. Of you force them to cal then it gets more even. Just a thought but I believe it could work. Maybe if doing Cal you can also use Amarr or vise versa and if you do gal you can use min/gal. Use the same alliances as in eve since this is an eve game.

I slapped on a few boosters and grinded hard. Like others have said try to get yourself a good squad going and it will become a lot easier to get that LP.

Yes, this would do it, but CCP will never implement it. Their primary claim as different from other game developers is that they don't force you to use anything, don't restrict you to race, which is in fact a negative, because it promotes FOTM and simplistic, bland approaches. As well as the ck.0 and RRs, you see enormous numbers of jumpy shotguns and mass drivers. I almost obsessively steer clear of anything that looks like it might be FOTM, so it's annoying to me to see all the RRs on the other team fighting me with my own weapons!

Trying to find one is impossible unless you're in a channel that allows newcomers, and if you're a noob, most will bump you anyway. And of course, you can start your own squad, but without experience how are you gonna lead it? Also, all the good players are already in their own squads if they're playing. So yeah, good advice, but very hard to do.

Trading is overrated and unreliable so id much rather earn my free stuff. But it takes forever and still sucks. Starter Fit Suits are OP :-)

When they're doing gfw they want to know what's happening in cfw as well. Why are they let into the cfw channels in the first place? And why aren't they kicked?

I think a good amount of people in STF were just there for the free ride, easy wins and such...When that channel died down I noticed quite a bit switched sides....hahaha either everyone wants a flavour of the month suit or they are afraid of an ass whoopin MmMmMm Glitter
