Turns out I had about 300 proto and 1k exo's! Why did I sell? It's not the same weapon it used to be. It was on par with the laser rifles "area denial" tactics.
Now the only person left using it as intended is masha muro. Man does a acr tear up jumpers though. I'm surprised we aren't hearing nerf rants over them, but seriously... Rattati you turned this game into team fortress then you leave for what will obviously be 2 months.
Mind you, I'm toying with the idea of speccing back into one of my personal faves back in Uprising, The gal assault.
That rof bonus is straight from the pages of internet spaceships.
Real reason I sold them though? I have a dangerous dropship addiction.

Actually the Minmatar Commando is damn nasty with a Mass Driver. Armor Tank and Damage mod that thing up and it can pretty much lock down an area by itself. No Myofibs required!

I do find it nice that those are exclusive to MD bonuses now. The calmando needed something more tangible and accessible for it.

Gal-Ass+ AR is seriously OP. More so than any other suit out there. Way more than the Mass-hole ever dreamed of being.
Mass-hole fits are squishy anyway. Easy kills for me.
If any gun needs to be brought in line is the AR.
The ScR was nerfed because the bonus it got from the Amarr Assault made it OP.

actually, id be ok with a range nerf so that its still good but just cqc. max effective range for ar is 70m. id be ok with 60
as for scramblers, they hve flipped. long ago, the basic was crazy good and the assault sucked, now its flipped

Nerf the AR range more?! Its already the shortest range of all the racial weapons!!
Also its where it needs to be now in terms of power. The range still hurts us plenty. If any part of a fight is outdoors or over distance the AR is effectively useless. Meanwhile every other racial weapon can still threaten people at range. |

Yeah, I was checking the stats and it was a long chat i had with Kaltos Darksbane on how shields are up cuz maps and weapon ranges and stuff and imo I wouldn't mind a small nerf to range.
Just a comparison tho-
Assault rail rifle max effective range- 75m
Assault rifle max effective range- 70m

I just want to have a ar pew as fast as my acr... It would be the first time I would if you want to call it that as I used min assaults back in the 5 high days and Amarr assaults before the strafe nerf.

You forget about the galmando with AR. Dude i still see more gal assaults with ARR then ARs, or less gal assaults in general. And have you tried minmando with CR/MD? I think the SCR damage should be buffed but keep the charge follow-up nerf the same. Then again i don't really know what I'm talking about so...
Also the heat buildup mechanics were stupid, if they were different maybe the nerf wouldn't have been necessary. Again pure speculation.
