Extra Humiliation Time.
That is the worthless waste of time in ambushes when the game's fate has already been decided (losing side has hit zero clones first).

Over there is detailed description, reasoning , arguments and good support from playerbase. (last man standing suggestion was clearly shot down because of abuse and unneeded delay reasons.

It's actually useful on balanced matches. You reach 0 first but other team is like at 1, our team managers to kill them all and we win even tho we hit 0 first.

I have had that happen too... made for a great game for sure but honestly its like once in a blue moon.

The 'usefulness' is equally cut with 'ridiculous bull**** ' depending what side of the lawn you are on.

i mean, its meh. the winner should be which ever team manages to completely wipe out the other teams clones till they cant spawn anymore AND kill all remaining people
thats where sometimes enemy is like 4 clones and our team is around same amount but we kill them first

You are talking like it would be as you describe.
Reality is that Barring few ultra rare bugs (twice in three years), the team who hits zero first loses. No exceptions.
Not even if the first-zeroed team manages to wipe out the whole enemy team. Can provide vid proof if really necessary. Think about it - all that effort, all that cleansing - zero reward.
So your argument is invalid. Maybe you want to post a new request on the Features and Ideas Discussion forums? An alternative to my earlier suggestion, and an alternative to how things are now? You know, I would support it.

First part is partially right.Ambush ends on zero clone for a team, but usually with considerable delay.
Second part is dead wrong.There is no requirement for 'half of team dead'. Easily proven: Be on a losing match where all the blue dots die away on the map and game still goes on. Remember you see all blue dots still alive. Can provide video proof if really necessary.

That is called 'Last Man Standing' mode or ending criteria. It has been suggested on forums a few times earlier.
It has been dismissed by majority because: - It forces a great number of people just waiting and waiting for game to end. - Boring - Encourages people to leave match or quit game or go AFK - Lessens the potential amount of players for matchmaking purposes by holding them 'captive'. Matchmaking would work slightly worse AND slower. - Due to combat flow it is uncommon - although quite possible - for a losing team to actually reverse the game while they suddenly have less people on the field (no respawns). So the effect isn't that big. - Opens window for ''Find the cloaked speed scout" trolling...
If you want to enjoy that scenario as of itself, please suggest it as a new game mode.

Maybe it is a bug, either way, I've experienced it and when it's happened, it's been an incredible moment.

I always thought it was like them killing off the survivors before they are shut down.
I like it too, even when we have lost, because it feel quite nice to have 14 guys chasing you down to no avail.

Well, that's available even without the Extra Humiliation Time. Consider all the complaints about broken matchmaking and the games where the majority of your team just leaves. There's plenty of that available indeed.

Its actually a glitch. A 50 clone Ambush lasts 60s after the last clone is gone.
If you're dead while this is happening, you'll notice that 6 phantom clones get added to the body count after it has reached 0. Those phantoms then die off 60s exactly later, ending the game.
I do not feel it is intentional, but some kind of funky bad code for the ending of the match. Because all other game modes end seconds after the clone count reaches 0.
It is a long wait, and pointless for each team. What, farm nanohives for 60s? It's another mistake by CCP, and I expect like most of their mistakes, they are unable to correct it, as they are not intelligent enough to not make them in the first place

Dumbnut, these things aren't exclusive. And on the other hand, some things we wish will NEVER happen. Just accept it.

How about have them fix the long 'Defeat' and 'Victory' screens instead of shortening battles.
Also, attempt not to make it seem like something like this is more important than Matchmaking.

Yea I've been pushing and reminding for a fix for some 18 months now.
Matchmaking is such a deep complex concept of it's own, with so many inter-affecting factors I and most others dare to say that there can never be one 'perfect' matchmaking.
