I returned a Terra byte call of duty edition ps4 that cost 564 USD.
Because I hated Planetside 2 and I hated Call of Duty 3.
If Dust isn't going anywhere my plan is to play skyrim in the mean time and buy and SSD for my PS3.
If the port doesn't happen I won't game anymore. I get more pleasure out of the gym than I do video games these days anyway.

I played Planet Side 2. Game is straight trash. San Andreas on PS2 has better graphics. Terrible game. Blacklight: Retribution is ok, but they have server issues. Haven't been able to login all weekend. |

I can't really say for sure since I played Dust since early closed beta, but I also believe this to be true. I mean, seriously, the first 6-7 months must have been tough for newberries. On the other hand Planetside 2 allowed me to do a decent amount of points/kills etc since the beginning.

The Witcher is a damn fine alternative, definitely my GOTY.
Battlefront was decent, but after getting to level 50 I have no real incentive to play.
And then of course there's Fallout...

I've been having a bit of fun with World of Warships on PC.
It has a lot of common elements found in sniping, and its pvp based, so it's fun.

Journey is available on the PS4 now. Go play that. It is a beautiful game. Battlefront can still be fun, if you make it a point to hunt down homing shot users, jump pack users, and douches that abuse the Bobba Fett character and tea bag them. |

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 comes out in February.
Have been playing the first off and on for over a year since they gave it away for free at PSX 2014.
If the second is anything like the first then I certainly think it worth spending money on. Then there is Overwatch which looks promising as well.
Otherwise there seems to be a severe lack of quality multiplayer FPS on the PS4.

pro tip for pvz, while playing as a cactus, plant your potato mine in the zombie summoning stations. most folks dont think to shoot it first before summoning and it blends in with the station. free kills. of course, it is kind of a douchey thing to do, but this late in the games lifespan, who cares, just do it.

the game is done and tested on a regular computer first and then compiled for the target platform, as such it it wouldnt be that big of an effort to port it to ps4. |

PS2 is a garbage game. I don't see how anyone gets excited about it as some alternative to Dust. |
