Movement is life, I cannot stress this enough, think about this when someone is easy to kill because they are stationary, also
think about when people are jumping around and are impossible to hit.
Stomps are common, if you cannot work out how to have fun when you team is crushing the enemy or being crushed
play another game
Skills are complicated but force yourself to some maths, You get a large increase to shields and armor for relatively few skill points
you might want to avoid advice about how to skill into proto and use a fitting optimization.
Don't spend aurum on gear from the market place it's crap

this games aiming system is the worst still. People take advantage of that fact. All I ever wanted was for CCP to fix the aiming, so I could shotgun again. The sticks are not sensitive enough, and there is nasty input lag. Can't twitch aim, need to be able to twitch aim. Why do think the jumping mods were so effective? Because the precise aiming here is garbage still.
Uh please port this, this is my favorite game to heal people on. All I like to do is either heal or shotgun. PS2 is ok, but my god do you need hood PC specs to run that game in crowds. But no game has come close to cool healing like DUSTs. Well....Killzones was good as well.

Spending aurum on gear in the market place is a smart choice, you can get boosters to earn SP faster, you can get APEX suits to earn isk without losing isk, etc.

Some Apexs are OK , and active boosters are OK , but there are things like the shock assault which are a total waste.
