I agree Latin american player base is helping to kill dust...
I have people who are in this player base and enjoy them and love to call them comrades...
but, then there is the Latin american corps you fight against every single time you lag like a dial up witch, and literally pump them full of lead and no hits register and they kill you.
that is until you shoot them in the back and they don't know you are there. Funny how they die then.

Univision has gone south. Enjoy the news, but their Novelas they have are **** now... Only one I watch is the the late one.
Weird when you thinking how one could enjoy soap operas... But it's something I grew up with and I can get a good laugh from them here and there. Damn this was off topic

I stopped watching novelas after La Reina del Sur. All other novelas are trash to me now. |

Yes, it is certainly players with slow internet connections fault the game is dying.
It certainly has nothing to do with CCP having zero understanding of net code and what normal work arounds are.
The fact that hit detection system was copy / pasted from Eve making one of the very few FPS games with server side hit detection.
Some kind of weird server syncing of all players in the game when one player has a poor connection is not an issue in the slightest. Again this seems to have been copied from Eve.
Finally, having cut the staff of the game down to who knows what level and giving up on client updates for nearly a year SURELY has nothing to do with the game dying.
Fan boys will do anything to believe that it is other people screwing them over and they are not getting duped by the company which they are feeding time and money to with very little merit for such contributions.

I think the problem here is that EvE "hit detection" is nonexistent. There is no player involvement in whether the shots hit - the computer does everything, based on the player directing it to fire at a certain target. In that regard, yes, it's server side, but there's no real hit detection - it's more hit determination, computer style.
In that regard server side hit detection was a brand new thing. I guess that could have been a problem. |

But it's not their fault that CCP will not invests in a proper latency correction code or program.
It does drive me crazy and there are players that absolutely take advantage of the problem.
They are not all from Latin American corps
Sorry just had to vent.
