I stopped giving a f**k. I play for fun. Yes lag and choppy performance still infuriates me but I am just trying to enjoy the game for what it is while I can.
Has anyone else had a positive experience on their return? |

I never left, but when I stopped caring, the heavens did open and Mead flowed like a river.
When I see Romulus Hex melee someone, I swap to my puncher and will go 0wp just trying to get one kill on him. Laughing madly when he is too fast and gets me first.
The ragdolls, lmao. Watching ads bump into stuff. Having blueberries forged off my rep tool. Jumpers that fall and die (I'll die watching killfeed just to see it)
When you don't take it too serious, this game is insane fun.

Why wouldn't you enjoy dust? to my knowledge it's one of the best shooters available on any console to date.
it's failures were purely on the part of ccp.
- They over hyped what the game could of been not what it was, disappointing most of it's early adopters. - They dropped support for it and never had any long term goals relying solely on cash grab options rather then things that players actually wanted. - Developed for a dieing console with no plans for porting to a new one, should of been built with ps4 in mind or built on the PC to begin with so porting was never an issue
All of that said they still managed to make a good game.

The problem is they promised and envisioned a hell of a lot more than they delivered for sure. Racial heavy weapons, racial vehicles are just the tip of the iceberg.
This game had / has the potential for RTS elements with a commander position (dropping installations, directing squads, calling orbitals etc...)
Still I enjoy the crazy crap that can happen in this game. I enjoy forge sniping and plasma cannoning. There is still plenty of fun to be had. Can't help but wonder where this game could have been however...... |

Wondering that with anything in life can give you grief. Dust is no different. Enjoy the moment to its fullest and be set free.

When I first started this game I had fun, I didn't know a locus grenade from an apple (seeing as I have my dropsuit command skilled to lvl 5) but what matters is I had fun and didn't care about anything.
