It's funny we can't fit ships until we're skilled, yet we can hijack any thing on terra firma. It doesn't make sense.
Additionally, it would be nice to be able to lock access to these things we spend our isk on. A lojack or something so we can jump out for fear of a noob teammate taking joyrides in our vehicles.
Lastly, let us kick people out of our gunner / passenger spots. :) |

How about we give them 0% skill bonus for using something they're not supposed to be driving. |

It is unfair to the player that invests SP in vehicles. He gives up prototype guns and dropsuits, infantry give up driving tanks. Otherwise calling in vehicles will become an alt position where one guy calls in all the vehicles for the whole corp. |

I like the ideas with exception of kick people out of turrets its hard enough to get people to use the gunner position at the best of times if people will be able to boot them out then chances are tank, dropship driving is going to be a very lonly affair mabye if there is in vehicle voice comms to ask them to get out if you have a squad member you want on the gun |

I'd like to have spawning in vehicles you "can't" drive not to be a silly part of the metagame, but at the same time I want stealing some dude's (ON THE ENEMY TEAM) tank to be possible. This sounds like a good compromise: you can still drive it, but with severe penalties, so you'd best roll it back to base and find someone who can or just cause as much of a distraction as someone who doesn't understand any of the buttons or readouts on the control panel of a tank would be able to do.
Maybe even give some bizarre penalties for hopping in the driver's seat of a vehicle you haven't trained for: can't move and shoot at the same time in an unskilled tank, can't turn without stopping, flying a dropship you don't know how to pilot goes at 50% velocity and lists heavily to one side, stealing a LAV you cant drive sets off the car alarm, blinks the lights, and blasts music from the stereo at full volume |

The thing I REALLY want is that once the vehicle drops, the one owning it ends up in the drivers seat automatically (if he/she stays at or at least very near the point where it were called). It is not fun to first get squashed by your own drop ship being delivered, then see another fly off in it and get himself killed right away while you are re-spawning. |

Or sweeter yet, be able to steal, and keep the vehicle if you possess it at the end of a round, or even call a drop ship to pick it up again, when they implement that feature (were suggested by someone, who had the GM/dev reply that it was a great idea) |
