There are moments when you burn down a Caldari in a Militia Suit with the Creodron Ion Pistol that enlightens you on something deeper. The methods and maneuvers in dust are countless, and yet each victory rings with honor, and defeat with disgrace. Two mercenaries dedicated to their team can turn the tides. But the Creodron Ion Pistol. For years the Gallente waited for a sidearm to match the plasma-driven fury of the Plasma AR, we watched the SMG and Scram become great and fall again. Then, as the Caldari got the Hawk Scout and the rail rifle... we were awarded with the lackluster Ion Pistol. A grand idea made of trash parts and melted heat sinks, but then the Creodron Corporation turned their might toward the resolution of the discussion: How can we make the Ion Pistol a competitor on the galactic battlefield? They could make the d*** thing work, for starters... and they did! They used nanotech crystals to focus the plasma discharge, improved the onboard AI to battleship levels and polished it to a shine. They did this while the dronehive shivered above the factory floor, assembling the mediocre weapon known to mercenaries: the Creodron Ion Pistol. You're not great, but you are sweet; and we Gallente appreciate you all the same. You can shred a Caldari Assault of the finest grade, and you can kill the friend that stood behind him. I'm pretty well versed in it, but the potential is unlimited... see I find the dispersion helps in the beginning, it's best to earn the SP to get the proficiency, learn as you're upgrading, use the gun as you're earning the SP to get the proficiency because then you slowly get used to it being more accurate with less dispersion as you become naturally more accurate with your aiming also it's sharpshooter skill but cba to correct myself now, of course when you use the charge shot the gun shakes and it's a matter of knowing where the shot will land, in the beginning you get lucky, quite a bit due to the dispersion but as mentioned learn and get better skill-wise as you're getting more invested SP wise into the gun. Stick with it for a while and earn the ion pistol SP with the ion pistol it's a lot more rewarding to progress that way I find. Also learn the ROF and the firing pattern or you'll end up over-pressing the fire button and not knowing which ones will result in shots and which won't. Learn the charge shot because it's deadly I have made some unbelievable headshots, try this fit too assault mk0 pg upgrade 3 complex sidearm damage mods 2x creodron ion pistol complex armour rep complex ferroscale complex kin cat complex reactive plate not sure how much of that can be fit and try at least the lowest level rep hive as well, I've gotten over 30 kills with just ion pistols before, I don't play much anymore but if I come back, it's to invest my new SP into the ion pistol!! >>>YouTube!<<<

It's my only sidearm.) Ion pistol is best sidearm imo. When in range, there's no other weapon like the ion pistol. Them charge shots are deadly af.
