Been here before, I know, but this time I am looking for a bit more.
I am looking for a group of players who want to be involved in Dust's future, both through the community, CPM and devs, and through lore. I would really like to get involved with learning the eve lore and find where it best applies to us dusters. I also would like to make an impact on eve itself through this group of people and be involved in more coordinated dust/eve efforts.
I am an open beta vet and have almost 130 million SP. Too much Proto to list and frankly I don't care to because that isn't important for the type of corp I am truly looking for.
If I had to choose a race I would choose minmatar, but I am a merc and thus can apply my allegiance where I choose.
Do corps like this even exist? |

Probably PCLAS, but your whole being Minmatar thing makes that a bit of a problem. |

I only have their recruiting post to go by. So don't be salty, just apply then.

If you do PCLAS and they do somehow accept you, ya have to use pure Amarr, that is really the only corp that fits your bill. And with True and Aero back it is looking more active. |

No worries I have all suits Proto except gal sentinel and all weapons to at least proficiency 3.
Also amarr and minmatar go hand and hand...well, more like hand and shackles but I'll take it. What self respecting amarran Templar doesn't keep a rep slave around..or any kind of slave for that matter. |

I doubt any corp will fit what you're looking for. Closest you'll find is one of the few larger pc corporations that have lots of eve players in their corps since you say you want more dust/eve interaction. The smaller carebear corps won't be able to provide that. Either way good luck in your search.

PCLAS is a corporation that specifically immerses itself into Amarr and Minmatar lore primarily the conflict between the two in Faction Warfare as well as depending on your interests the social aspect of Imperial life.
However unlike other Dust 514 corporation we do have strict rules that the Alliance expects us to follow. This is most notable in our sole use of Amarrian dropsuits and weapons except where no examples exist (vehicles, side arms, heavy weapons, and grenades). Frankly I don't really want to shoehorn you into only using a fraction of the content you have earned and probably like to use currently however I'm also not interested in making exceptions to the rule.
If you are interesting in learning more about the lore I'm also more than willing to help as best I can. I suggest doing this before committing to a applying for PCLAS as you might find some other aspects of lore that you really like or dislike in the Amarr faction or in other factions. Fortunately the Amarr have a wealth of established lore and a very dedicated following.
Additionally PCLAS isn't as large a corporation as we once were with a great many core members having lost their enthusiasm for what they were doing we can usually organise weekend deployments but if you are for daily content I am sorry to say at present time we are not really able to provide unless US TZ players like Aero and Aisha make a return to lead large scale squads or EU TZ players like Templar 12, and AU TZ players like myself attempt really obscure hours.
The Amarr are a great faction if you....
- Like the idea of playing an noble or lordly type character - They are also good if you like the idea of playing a convert, emancipated slave, or slave soldier like the Kameira's - If you like space marines these guys are for you - If you like charismatic yet morally grey higher powers also give them a try

I suggest reading the Chronicles as a start.

Personally I recommend EVElopedia.
Chronicles can wait until you have an understanding of New Eden's context and an appreciation for what each story is trying to convey. Simple searches of 'EVElopedia Amarr/Minmatar/Caldari/Gallente History' typically reveal entire detailed synopses of the four main empires from their formation to modern day.
Also looking into....
'EVElopedia CONCORD' 'EVElopedia Dropsuits' 'EVElopedia Day of Darkness' 'EVElopedia Vak'Atioth' 'EVElopedia Caldari Prime' 'EVElopedia [insert any main characters name]'

Well you say you're a beta vet with 130mil sp, I'd say that meets the requirements. The only requirement that would apply is be chill and don't start drama. We're a larger, well established corp who's been here since 2013. We're regularly involved in planetary conquest and our corp includes several eve pilots who help coordinate the eve/dust stuff such as providing orbital support in our pcs. We play fw, but do not limit ourselves to any one faction, and we also got pub squads going throughout the day.
