Is it as simple as deleting the application from your PS3 then re-downloading the app from the PS Store or is there more to it?

Probably would also want to delete the patches (Game Application Data should be in the game column in the XMB above where an inserted disc would appear).

Yes just delete game and game data.
Doing a database rebuild is not required after that and before new install but not a bad idea.

Aww.... I wanted to be the one to suggest rebuilding the database.....
Basically True, you want to delete the client from Game Data Utility. Afterwards, defrag or 'rebuild the database' of your ps3. Text guide here, video guide here. Then go to your downloads list and find Dust or go through the PS store and find it. I recommend the DL list which is under PSN (where the sign-in button is for PSN)>Account Management>Transaction Management>Downloads. The reason for this is because the PS store can be quite laggy.
Just remember:
- Delete
- Defrag
- Download
Works best that way. Good luck!

Wait...Adamance reinstalling Dust? Aero posting on the forums?...Will the Classiarii be taking to the field in at least fire teams if not full squads once more? (I haven't seen the Arbiter around in a while...but maybe different active times) When once more I can accompany my Battle Bruvas (and Sisters) into the field of AFW...been only able to get into CFW Lately...

Thal and I have already been deploy to the warzone for a long time now however we primarily have been working within the Empire following up on various defense interests. We've only recently reacquired Aero and schedule permitting we may be able to drag Templar 12 away from his clerical responsibilities ensure we have enough materiel to wage war across half a dozen planets.
Despite that I appreciate the offer of assistance. I'll need to make contact soon after I download this new targeting software..... recently the older generation had been getting a bit laggy and wasn't tracking TacNet signatures particularly well.

Got on for the first time in quite a while and it went smooth when I plugged the PS3 into my hdtv instead of my 4K..lagged twice for like a total of 10 seconds..overall it was really smooth and I want to comeback but I don't think I can leave my 4K
