I heard there are people like Pancake or Lightning who are loyalists of a certain race... I've also heard of Elitists like Daaaa Beast and how some of them gave up on it... So I was wondering why is being a Elitist so much harder than a Loyalist? What items are restricted from the elitist of that race? I also wanna know what kind of Gal assault fittings are viable...?!?! I can hold my own in the starter fit but... after seeing a pre-fitted apex suit which a corpmate gave me, I still really don't know how to fit suits correctly by myself just yet... Any help would be greatly admired! I may be the prey and you may be the hunter but that doesn't mean this chicken can't bawk you to death. - Sacred Chick

Why limit yourself to 1/4 of the content? Even gm archduke said so in a post long ago. For gal assaults you'll need reactive plates,armour repairers and a mentality that enables you to rush and get within assualt rifle range. Ha!You can't kill me! I'm already dead!

Any help would be greatly admired! Typically a loyalist is someone who strives to play with faction based weaponry and follow faction based combat etiquette. Gallente - Plasma Weapons/Assault Rifles - Close Quarters -Armor Repair Tanks Amarr - Laser Weaponry - Mid to Long Range - Armor Tanks Caldari - Rail weapons - Mid to Long Range - Shield Tanks Minmatar - Combat Rifles/Mass Driver - Close/Mid/Long Range - Shield and Armor Tanks When I say Shield or Armor "Tanks" I'm referring to the type of armor that faction is more suited to. For example, Gallente suits naturally have a higher Armor and Armor Repair Rate than say a Caldari suit of the same type. So if you stack Armor Repair Modules and Armor Modules, you are essentially "playing to your strengths". An elitist is someone who believes they are better than you, and that's it. Their opinion is more valid than yours, their perspective is inherently flawed and generally they aren't very friendly. I've never heard of "faction elitism" if that's what you were referring to though... A basic loyalist Gallente Assault Suit fitting should look something like this: Assault G\1 Series Suit Assault Rifle of Choice Ion Pistol Grenade of Choice Equipment of Choice (Scanners for Gallente Logistics suit) 3 Basic Ferroscale or Reactive Plates 2 Basic Armor Repair Modules 3 Basic Light Damage Modules (Or as many as you can fit) Ferroscale plates don't restrict your movement speed or jump height. But also give you the least amount of armor of all the plate choices. Reactive plates will slow you down and limit your jump height somewhat but will provide an additional Armor Repair bonus. Normal Armor Plates can provide a large amount of armor but will slow you down quite drastically. 'APEX' Spartan Assault 'Quafe' Assault Rifle 'Wildlight' Ion Pistol Thukker Contact Locus Grenade K-2 Nanohive Krin's LEX-71 Damage Modifier Advanced Precision Enhancer 'Kinesis' Basic Shield Extender 2x Enhanced Reactive Plates Complex Profile Dampener Enhanced Armor Repairer Complex Kinetic Catalyzer Stats CPU - 278/280 PG - 51/51 Cost - 43,965 ISK Shield - 230 Armor - 432 Armor Repair Rate - 14.75 hp/s Movement Speed - 4.85 m/s Sprint Speed - 8.03 m/s Scan Precision - 34 dB Scan Profile - 30 dB I run this 'APEX' fitting more than any other fitting I have. I focus on trying to stay in enclosed areas or near objects I can move in and around of. I always stay moving and I rarely will look into a direction of inactivity for any more than 2 seconds at a time. Making sure to check your surroundings constantly is very important. The Profile Dampener makes it more difficult for nearby enemies to detect you and the Precision Enhancer allows for you to more easily detect those nearby enemies. The Profile Dampener/Precision Enhancer combo compliments the use of a charge shot from the Ion Pistol very well. With the Precision Enhancer I can see the people coming towards me so as they approach I will pop out from around a corner and quickly fire off a charged shot before ducking back behind the corner. The Precision Enhancer also compliments the Thukker Grenade because again you can see the enemy approaching; just make sure to be accurate with the Thukker because the blast radius is kind of small. The Kinetic Catalyzer/Armor Repair combo works very well when battling redberries because while you are able to move quickly in and around objects to avoid being shot you are able to rapidly repair your armor at the same time.

For example an Amarr loyalist like myself is primarily depending on buffer tank while using laser weaponry. Basically it is not about matching a suit to a weapon. You mention Gal, a Gal loyalist for example would be more of a rep tank fit while using an assault rifle. It pretty much comes down to understanding the "style" of the race which you want to be a loyalist of and understanding not only their fitting styles but also their fighting styles. Honestly in Dust there are no TRUE loyalist because a lack of diversity and a lack of true differences within those styles makes things very limited. Show there is a future #CCPSpeakOn514

Which is specifically why I have a sent with plasma cannon to "serve as a heavy weapon". I don't use it too often. It's not too bad tbh, only problem is it's like running a forge gun up close. Since it's less mobile. You gotta stick to ion pistol a lot. Which is why o prefer my galass with PC. Hell, I don't even use my sent that much... Or my logi... And recently my scout.... I take a Stand and Deliver approach to my Sentinel since I mainly use it to maintain a solid hold on an objective.

It's mind boggling that someone refuses to take advantage of the racial bonus. That and heavys with rail rifles, is that **** still around? If I run Gk.0 assault, it's AR/shotty/Plc, Ion pistol, scanner and armour/rep/kin-cat tank, dust is life... ... uncertain, and usually pretty dissapointing.
