What your experiences with this game and pc in particular were like if you were in different corp? I'm sure many of you have wondered how much more fun it would've been to be a member of FA. That's understandable. You're welcome to share this feeling.
For instance I have thought, what if I never left/was kicked from R*S? What if when I left that I joined 0.H instead of synergy (which I also was kicked from).
My whole perspective of the major events in this game for the past three years would've been the exact opposite!
Think of all the experiences you've had in pc and the friendships you formed through them: What if you were somewhere else? Tell us about it

I'm glad I didn't go back to ToP after it tanked the first time.
I do sometimes wonder what it would have been like if I had joined OH when Shrukian Iceeye was spamming for me to join. I liked a lot of people in OH.

You see, if you all weren't so busy picking on "Corp hoppers" you could've actually experienced all of the corps you wanted to experience. Now all that's left is what ifs.
Back when I was on the verge of leaving R*S because of the lack of PC my first choice was Team Players. I wanted to follow Extacy (legendary corp hopper) there and I knew Zat. I was pretty surprised when I got denied but understood why, it wasn't about my ability, it was about not wanting to have to bench me or someone else for me (there was actually too many slayers back then).
So I did what anyone would do and joined Nyain Chan. lol. From there I got recruited into 0H, hated it there, Rei was annoying as fuck and the way everyone was virtually drooling over her was too cringy. Left after only a week, and took 13ear and zBroadway up on their offers to let me join AE.
Gave TP lots of grief after that, was pretty quickly offered a ticket into TP despite what cubs said before, which I thought was funny. Could've taken it but I knew the only reason it was offered was because they didn't want to taste the people's elbow anymore.
I sometimes wonder what it would have been like if I switched sides then and there, and what difference it would have made to the final outcome of things. I think things would have turned out similarly, AE would still have beat TP in the Tournament marking the fall of TP (maybe) but the rest of EoN. would have stuck around a lot longer than they did.
Not Guilty/Pure Innocence, a top tier corp in EoN. that laid the blame of their exit from Dust on me and the launch of several titles. Sometime it gets me thinking that corps like SyN, Not guilty, TP would have been around a lot longer than they were if I chose to join TP after all.

The best corp I was in was the first Necro we had such a tight bond from getting our first district, which was alarm clocking at 2 am for me, to FF14 which was our demise along with most others. I still talk in RL to a few of them. I was most proud of what our team of scrubs did(;
I've hopped to many other corps, been in God only know how many PCs had a blast along the way meeting many good ppl in the process.
As an "old guy" Dust is and probably will be the only game I play. I've been thankful to be a member of Cassette as it has been the most chill corp I've been in since Necro.
I've had a lot of fun playing Dust over the past few years some corps have been more fun than other but I'm glad I have had the opportunity to be in each and every one of them o7

I'm glad you responded this is exactly what I had in mind. I remember when you first showed everyone (on a wider scale) that in a PC WTF/SI and everyone thought it was so funny.
If you had stayed on eons side it would've been further weaponized against other groups and corps especially O.H and AE. Both those corps were in a rebuilding phase at the time
I know in particular syn got burned out very fast cause of constant filling in for AE battles. Without syn being an umbrella the 'weaker' corps all got exposed and that was that beginning of end.
Or, when you left to O.H. Temporarily to get in on their battles, remember I waa going to join before I had that argument where Rei kicked me from their pc? You were there and you left right after that. What if that didn't happen: I would've joined and you might've had less a reason to leave (at least that early). In that case, the peoples elbow would've been weaponized against AE and eon and how would that be. Coin and funk and etc were so pissed by it but how different would they react if it was on there side?
And, even further back, I've thought also what if Extacy, Tig3r, doubletap and etc never left R*S and we kept at it/raged less/better chemistry

I mean, don't get me wrong. I have no regrets about my choices in corps.
I was tempted to join OH at one point, but I made the decision to stay in FA, and I don't regret it in the slightest. Any time you make a choice, you're left with a what-if of the opposite.
FA has been, and will always be home for me. I honestly couldn't think of a better corp for me. It's the perfect mix of goofy stupid trolling and dead seriousness. FA has managed to hit the on/off switch for that pretty damn well, and it makes the whole experience fun. We can go from doing stupid sh*t in a pub to getting ready to go into a PC with no downtime. Hell, I remember when we only started getting serious 2 minutes out from boots on ground. Derrith would play music in the warbarge. We made sure to have fun, while at the same time trying to show that we were meant to be taken seriously. The journey to the top and back down is an experience I'll never forget.
It was fun, crazy, and challenging. I don't regret staying in FA one bit. That doesn't mean I won't ever be curious of how things could have been down the road. I still think I made the best decision.

Honestly I've only wanted to join one other corp aside from FA, and that was OH.
I actually applied there a while back before I joined PX1, got rejected, then Mike got me with some ex OH guys, and they all kept telling me horror stories about Blitz, Rei, Kaotic, and eventually I came to the conclusion that I dodged a bullet when they rejected me.
The only time I would even consider leaving FA was if OH made a return and was being led by Whataguy and/or Tibs.
I couldn't, and don't want to imagine myself with any other tags at this stage, because at the end of your dust career (at least for me), the only things that should matter is that you're with the homeboys that you fought beside, and you had to put up with their pissyness, and they in turn your crap. I doubt very many corps would put up with me leaving like a bad girlfriend as often as I did...
And the old FA.gs being gone is one of the main reasons I don't want to return, I'd have to find a new corp. And to be frank, most of these current corps I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

Hmm.... I'm pretty sure if I had never left IG I wouldn't have met all of the wonderful players I hangout with today.
There was this first corp I joined, I can't remember the name but I did my first pc with them.
The pc went pretty damn sour but it was alot of fun.
From there the corp went downhill then I met Sota Pop who got me into his anime corp, I met alot cool people there like Heim, Vlad, Demens, Xsaphire, & jigoku.... ect.
It was pretty damn fun hanging with all of those amazing players but then blah blah stupid drama corp fell apart ugh.
It was around summer time when I met 501st Headstrong & he recruited me into GAM then a found a tigh knit group of fun peeps, then once again blah blah blah corp drama then people left ugh.
After awhile I rejoin one of the previous corps i joined earlier.... didn't work out.
Rejoin my solo corp 501st asked me to join o.h since they were rebuilding at the time...... I would've felt out of place if I joined them.
Sometime after awhile Mr. Spero sends me a mail saying join nf.... I joined a day later.
Rage quit NF after 1 week. Why? My performance compared to the rest was **** not to mention there weren't any dk points yet.
Rejoin NF did alot of pcs, met more cool peeps & I think I left after 2 months can't remember why.
Rejoined my solo corp got invited to join DMG (which I did months later) & various corps blah blah blah.
So yeah If I never left IG I wouldn't have experienced all of these wonderful moments. Pie....

After fanfest and KEQ moved to ps4 i decided to do some corp hopping to see how many corps i could help rebuild. Many of the corps i joined were once my enemys so it was fun to hang out with people i used to shoot at. I only left these corps when they became to powerful and would try to go help the next corp. I meet a lot of great people and if the game was still alive like before fanfest i would have never left any of the corps i joined because they were all great homes. But im KILL-EM-QUCK gaming clan for life.

I wish we could've had a chance to make something of PX1, that was so much fun building a corp from nothing only to alienate people because we weren't fielding our own, I remember us taking on an STB resurgent A team that was really damn good and beating them with our team of you guys plus Lea, Patriot, Nibs, Spectre, Doubletap etc.
That's my only regret.
I thought OH was pretty fun, got to hang with all the OG OH guys before I left to the dark side (NS) got soooo much hate mail for that.

Lol you're still here? Get your cheatin @$$ outta here

Sometimes I wonder like what if I didn't waste a year of my life playing a mediocre game... Could I have been playing a better game? Maybe focused more on my personal life or work? Maybe learned how to repair airplanes in the evenings. Instead of rushing home to defend some crappy cargo hub from some laggy flavor of the month Corp hoppers. It's the what ifs that keep me awake at night

It's the what ifs that keep me awake at night Lucky you got out of it with losing only a year. Here we are on the forums...
To Ari's thought: your app was very much a split decision within the corp. Our dictatorship was quite democratic. Cubs tended to agree with the majority and the majority tended to agree with Cubs. Nobody was entirely against it except for maybe Xero ( he hated everyone that wasn't in the corp and was slightly suspicious of those that were). But we had about 14 90% attendance players and enough friends to fill in the gaps at that point that it just didn't make sense. All battles were scheduled by the corp. I can garuantee that you wouldn't have gotten as much vitriol if you pulled the rock me sock em' in eon... The only people that said anything negative about it before you weaponized it with a scanner are Kobrah and Xero. Koju and Soul's teams ate it in key situations to the Danyul-Sun chop on many occasions... They never said a word. Actually the only one from that group that spoke a word was 13ear and it probably had more to do with him being mad that he died than anything else.

You left us for Pure Evil once. Granted, you only stayed for one day and didn't even PC for them but still he joined because i was there :)

I had a chance to join some big corps in beta, but i am a scrub, and turned into an awesome scrub, with regrets of what could've been.
At least i am in the best corp now.

Sometimes wonder what-would've-happen-if I wasn't kicked from IH. By sometimes i mean barely though i may have been able to hang out with OG OH more. As a general rule i try not to go into what-would've-happen-if cause reasons.
But i got friends here so I'm happy to still be with them.

Corps are over rated, people leave and join corps all the time, Friendship is forever. CCP lured me in to join one by introducing the planetary market points or whatever they are called only to tell me i can't buy sh*t with them.
I do sometimes wonder what if i was a lazy piece of sh*t and never fielded that battle against bigdaddy that kicked of the CBM.
I'm kind of a big deal.

If I had decided to join SyN sooner, DJINN Soul would have followed me, since we both came from the same MAG corp. Instead, he got picked up Hellstorm while I was still looking for the right fit, which happened to be SyN a few weeks later. Ended up fighting against him my entire Dust career instead of with him. Could you even imagine him in EON or Fatal??? Jesus. Hell, just getting him out of AE would have have been a huge game changer in the PC landscape.

Good responses fellas
Especially you badger
Some more from me
was playing with this one guy and he told me how he smoked free based coke for a few weeks with his brother in law, before even asking what it was they were smoking. I thought 'I should ask him to join. He can become the best player, become a God'
I didn't
I regret it.
Also, all the corps I've been apart of, I was invited. The only corp I've genuinely applied to in 'evaluate and judge me' sense was impswarm which rejected me. I wondered what would've happened if I were accepted.

I have friends everywhere. In almost every corp. I'm pretty sure I could've been in any top tier corp like AE, CAP or FA. Not to mention the friends I have in the more casual corps.
Zatara is a pretty cool guy. I got to play Destiny with him along side of Silly, Kota, Neodarc, Fusion, Frost and a lot of others. Good bunch of guys.
EDIT: I also played with Skelly. I didn't forget!
Shepard and his gang are alright. A funny story, I did join FA - For an hour I think. This was after Destiny's release and 0H was stalled again. But soon after I did, Shepard gave me the black tears and a sad story and I ended up joining CAP because of it. I felt bad about wanting to leave FA almost as soon as joining it - Never really giving it a chance. I ended up writing a classic Canadian apology that was a good wall of text before I left.
Don't like my posts. I like the number of likes I have.
