So this is a thread where the haters and users will lay out their thoughts PEACEFULLY for once ! Let us ask the Myofib users what inspired them to do so As of me it was BAD GUNGAME and PROTO STOMPING And I found out that using Myofibs was perfect counter for evey type of stopmin gameplay E.g. : Redlined ? - Myofibs + uplinks Tanks Stomping ? - Myofibs + PLC + AV nades Sooo many combinations to counter ikky situations .... And I have been around since when REs were said to be OP and cheesy while currently they still hold the same potential .... It's just that the interest died out , and so will this eventually Other cheesy strategies people used to use like LAV and heavy w/ HMG drive-bys which got boring eventually All these happened to die cuz something new came which was more interesting I will start legit gungame-gameplay when CCP makes sure that I can empty a clip of an MLT rifle and hope to see a proto assault die or have critical hp and not regen. fast enough to make me feel like I was using a NERF gun Men , The Polite Ones Atleast , Would Call Me A Monster

This is a tactical shooter, which is why I play. If you compare Destiny with Dust, the level design, combat and some exotic armour warrants the need to be able to jump. The myfofibs were a late addition and don't enhance the experience at all (for me personally). I played a Dom match last night and whilst most of my team left early on, I still stayed and had a good fight and was so happy as there was no one in the other team using the md/myo combination which would have otherwise made my find another match.

I dont mind their use tactically for wall jumps or to get places or to escape vertically from a fight. BUT They're too easy to spam jump IE bounce around constantly. I'd make them work so each one drained the stamina pool by a set amount. Use 3 you'll get a really high jump but it will empty your stamina. You can still use cardiacs to counter this, but you will need to spend more time on the ground to regen, and thus plan your moves rather than just keep hitting jump and spamming your MD/Flaylock.

Didn't like it so went back to 1 myo max (to get over stuff faster - parcour style). But recently I put back myos (2) on my minmandos for two reasons: First, you need to be able to jump on certain objects (rooftops) if you get put there for PC AV/overwatch purposes. Second, the myos are the only option to evade the recent rise of the speedtanked shotty invasion in PC (scouts and assaults wiht Bon's). This has helped my survivability in shotty situations a lot. However, I don't like the jumpy MD crowd as much as the next guy. So there should be a higher drain of stamina if you stack those things. What if you loose 50% extra per jump for every myo fitted after the first one? So if you fit two, you lose 150% of stamina per jump instead of 100% with one or none fitted. If you fit 3, you loose 200% of the stamina of an non myo jump. This wuld reduce the amount of jumps, or they would have to fit cardiacs, which would decrease their hp, since they could not fit as many plates. This way myos could still be used strategically (which is a very good thing!) but not as much for spamming Explosives (MD/PLC/FL). It would still be possible, but toned down a bit.

Jump and you just escaped damage Of all things in dust, that fact that myos can do so much is annoying and to a point, not even fair. Everything else (or almost) requires specific fitting to do well. The only problematic combo IMO is with MD, flaylock, I think I've got killed by a jumpy PLC only a couple of times. I've much more problems with nade spammers than jumpy fits except MD jump of course. Regressed to blueberry level.

So this is my reason for using myros with MD because of being the only blue in the city. I use it with Std MD a quafe (MD skill at 2) and man its so easy to get kills lol. Slap myos and PC and you can do everything. yer the OP says it right at the start he uses them to counter proto stompers. thats the problem right there, they counter most play styles too well, and there is too few that counter them. it's a tough one, they do add more strategy, but i think you guys are on the right track with the stamina depletion. make us pause between jumps a bit. i think its mainly the damage avoidance that annoys most ppl. Less QQ more PewPew

Assault super regen is to much for a Mlt tier to handle .... I prefer to one shot with weapons like bolt pistol , scrambler rifle , plc , ion pistol so aim factor can be the case but the newbies ? Same for me ..... its more of a comeback fit I have no interest in melee damage since mine is a minmata medium frame w/ uplinks , av nades and plc A point many people miss is that many people take it as an insult to die from MLT gear while in PRO gear (typical ragers) While the newbie celebrates its accomplishment the proto user returns to spam him I.e. STOMPING thinking MLT gear beating him means he needs BETTER SUIT AND WEAPONS People should understand that thier gameplay might have been a bit faulty causing thier loss instead of making it a personal pride scar Men , The Polite Ones Atleast , Would Call Me A Monster

For example, someone who can use a caldari fit will fit it so that they have high shield AND high shield regen. As for Gallente, we get a bonus to armor repair....so for me personally I use Reactive Plates and Armor Rep mods..... Jumpy splash damagers are just scrubby and further crutch themselves instead of working toward making their gungame better. If I can improve my gungame, anyone can. I held a .35 K/D for almost two years. I quit the game for a couple months and then came back. Now after a lot of hard work my K/D is almost a 1.0 #LogiLife D4GG3R is my mom. I have reason to suspect Archduke is a Sassy Pirate.

I use many styles of gameplay but many get repetitive while myofibrils add a whole new array of ideas You all call us mad monkeys jumping with no real skills or idea of what gunplay is and that we are reliant on pot-shots .... but how many of y'all can honestly dare 1v1 a tank or run towards an ADS and spam it with sleek AV nades to scare it away ? And play recon. for the team ? Using Myofibrils needs skill aswell .... everything in this game does . Literally anyone can do it and it's easy mode. I can 1v1 a tank, and in many cases I will go 1v1 a tank. Same with ADS. The only skill required with Myofibs is the skill to falcon punch people in the face without getting killed first. Also, you don't lose all regen with the myfoib fit. I can toss three myofibs on my Galass or Gal Logi and still fit my suit with armor and repar. Try again. D4GG3R is my mom. I have reason to suspect Archduke is a Sassy Pirate.

I have a tank, but alas I am a ****** tanker as it's more of a place for me to dump SP that I have. Also, you can easily kill an ads with a Plasma Cannon if you are a good shot. You need to brush up on your knowledge of the game to properly kill vehicles or other suits. I am a hard pusher when it comes to ground patrol. The fact that it's taken me so long to get from a .35 to a .99 K/D will prove that. I'm reckless and I'm sure a lot of people will confirm that. I can get a ton of kills, but I die a lot doing it. Also, Minmatar can in fact tank regen while using myos.....they are after all; the dual tanking class. Here's a little known fact, you can actually kill a python with a rail rifle. Myos were originally intended for melee damage. Hence why using them to be super mario mary poppins aholes is not a good use of the mod. D4GG3R is my mom.
