Just curious if there's any hope of the Devs figuring out how to keep full teams instead of running 1 in 4 matches with 6-9 people.
I suppose it wouldn't be so completely frustrating if the other team wasn't running around in full proto/officer gear. But that's probably wishing for to much. |

The thing is, most matches start out full or at least with balanced teams. However one guy or squad on one team decides to leave for whatever reason, and then the teams morale decreases and it slowly gets to a snowball effect where everyone on one side begins to leave.

I'd tell you to ask someone who cares, but no one except CCP can answer you and with the previous statement, your gonna get nowhere quick.

I have been bitchin about it for a loooooooooooong time bro. They don't care about that apparently, it is more important that the guys complaining about being put in to matches that are half over are happy.
In this way Dust can suck for everyone instead of the few... that is compromise.

Agreed. Personally I think it's an effect of the max squad size change and q-synching for a match. 2-4 squads of proto-stompers who end up split up instead on the same side. Poof, 4 players vanish leaving the remainder of the team undermanned and facing off against 1-3 squads still proto'd up. Then attrition sets in and within 3 min the match is more than half empty.
I'd hoped to come back for a visit and find a game that was better than when I left last year. If anything it's worse. Very sad for a game that had great potential. |

Actually, in my experience q syncing in pubs, we usually try to play against each other. |

Wait till China receives their PS3's, then you'll have enough players for your game again.

To many people leave, especcially the KDR afficionados... LOL
On comms it usually sounds like this... : "Has anybody a needle, save my Frame's... noooo... OK, I'll run proto now..... (get's blapped by shotgun) nooo anybody got a needle?... Running cheap suits now my Apex is great... (getting blapped even more) Frack these Protostompers I hate it when they do that!"(coming from the guy who started in Officer gear... LOL)---
Ending in: "Frack this, I hate this game, all fracking lagswitchers bunnyhoppers..." and so on... Person leaves...
People like this can't stand to be on the receiving side of a stomp. They simply leave because they only live for stomping weaker suits:
"Hey guys have you seen me dropping that 50bomb?!" From a player using Officer/Proto to drop 40 Militia and maybe 10 ADV suits in a game... Slow Clap bro... You guys are pathetic. These guys usually let their teammates at the point die allone, protecting the objective. They run away to kill seperated weaklings somewhere on the map, to increase what they think is what defines a good player. Then they complain about "Campers" who stick to the objective in a group to have a friggin chance against the stompers.... Guess what, this is what people are supposed to do in an objective based gamemode! That's what kills this game, because you can't balance with cowardly kdr addicts in a team. They will always run away to save their suits. You can't balance around this playerbase... |
