Hello there merc, here i am again your favourite(I think i am.... ) SC hating Caldarian merc. Today i was testing out some mass driver as my next weapon of choice the kill those filthy damm SC and during my visit to the market place i come upon a paticular Mass Driver which name is "X-MS15 SNOWBALL LAUNCHER". Now im asking this cause i havent been using the mass driver for awhile but for what reason did CCP put a weapon which does no damge at all and costly to restock. Is it suppose to be a decor to match with the holidays or is there a thread for this weapon that i don't know about.
Overall it may seem that im sounded angry in this post but im not, just curios of this weapon exsistence
P.S. SC stand for shotgun cloaker for those who havent read my post on how to survive an encounter with a scout

The Snowball mass driver was a NPO put for last year's Christmas.
It does no damage and is just for the lolz ( ennemies just get a hitmarker), or as I would say, for CCP to show their persuasive powers, as plenty of idiots bought it.

A snowball launcher shoots snowballs...and snowballs don't deal damage. It's mostly a vanity item, that was introduced for Christmas, just to enable Mercs to have snowball fights.

So yes, snowballs do cause damage.
Launcher fires with much more force, so how exactly does it still not do any damage???

The direct hit and splash damage of the Snowball Launcher in DUST 514 is 0.
Please click here to file your feedback, if you think this vanity item should do the exact opposite of what it was created for and deal damage like all the other MDs.
Alternatively, you can bring this up before the CPM in the The CouncilGÇÖs Chamber.
This is unlikely to change though, as it was added for fun, and it is intended to deal 0 damage.

do you remember that we are nine foot tall mercs with exosuits that can take every thing from bullets to lasers?
We have quite a bit more capabilities than an average human, or even an average clone.

i made a small wall to hide under 2 years ago and i just spammed them and stopped till i heard the other guy was bleeding from nose.

Nah, don't see why it should do damage. I mean, I'll bring it up with the rest of the CPM anyway, but I personally think that it's just fine as a collector's item.
Who knows, maybe one day we can make it cover your HUD in a frosty effect or something when it hits you and people can use it as a pseudo-support weapon.
