When a Sansha Invasion occurs, NPC contracts should appear that are requesting Dust mercs to head down and repel Sansha slaves/Androids/ soldiers from overrunning the planet. The mercs fortify an outpost while Sansha dropships are constantly dropping off dozens of Infantry units, and vehicles.
There should be different classes of Sansha, just like how there are different DUST mercs.
Survival contracts should have a player max of 24 players, and for every merc on the battle field. There should be 10 Sansha to match him. So a full game would could be 24 VS 240 for the epic epicness.
DUST mercs would be given a couple resupply units for their ammo needs.
Winning and losing conditions.
In order to win, you must be able to fend off the Sansha untill the Match time runs out.
in order to win, all of the Sansha ships in orbit must be destroyed.
In order to lose, the mercs must run out of clones before the match timer runs out.
Sansha are NPC's BTW. |

Although I agree we should eventually get an Incursion mode, there is already a Rouge Drone survival mode coming. It's described as a Horde variant (do I really have to tell you what Horde Mode is?), and it should be interesting to see. |

True.
But this guy's idea sounds waaaaay more intense, plus would help enrich any PvE aspects of the game as well as tie in with EVE rather well, etcetera, etcetera. |

Sansha are like the borg though so they should be a bit more intelligent, instead of mindless waves just attacking your base. They should be akin to a match where you have to defend critical objectives that the sansha willt try to take out in various order. The more objectives left standing when match is over bigger the paycheck. |

OK, i'll post my thoughts on the actual idea now. In EVE, Sansha are designed to fight and be fought similar to players, as they are essentially capsuleers as well. In DUST, remember Kuvakei doesn't have immortal soldier tech yet, but expect a new wave of kidnaps for that purpose. I like the objectives, it would go along with the PvP connection by making EVE ships work alongside mercs. How about we expand on this a little?
One thing i've never understood is, since we can transfer our "soul" at will, why not download ourselves into a mainframe and control three or four bodies at once? I expect Sansha would figure this out long before we do! Sansha troops using this trick would form tight squads of one class almost exactly mirroring each others' moves. AoE weapons could clear the squad until it respawns, or an EVE ship knocking out a serverbank in a system anom could "pod" the guy running the clones, removing that squad from the match. If nothing else, I want EVE ships to affect the matches in a bigger way than orbitals. One Universe, One War. |

this is really good idea, and EvE fighting going on the sector could effect things going on the ground, like no more reinforcements, if they screw up more dudes to fight. but either way this is good intro PvE stuff for new players to get into a learn the game before they play with the big kids |

I like it. I like it a lot. Been nattering about some kind of Sansha tie in on these forums for a while. Maybe the contracts could come from EVE side from pod pilots. For every every successful mission ran in DUST it'd help knock down Sansha Influence. |
