Has been illuminated for me.
There was at least 60 of us that piled in from pshome. (In my crowd alone..)
5 remain at best including myself. Three brother corps lost to the ebb of time.
Seeing all the changes, things come and gone. Losing friends to other interests slowly.
You begin bittervetting and not even realize it....
With so few close friends left, nobody had the heart to tell me, for fear of losing yet another of us.
With 1.3 incoming, lore beginning to surface, and cryptic hints from Duke about the future; I have begun to shed my salty exterior. I have no expectations or hope. But not in a bad way. I am again just happy with what we have.
(new ds3 helped A LOT, that left drift was making me look like a fresh blueberry xD)
So tl:dr
If you have older crowd players in your group, let them know if they start sour patch kidding. It's only downhill from there.

Cryptic hints from Archduke? Wut. I <3 Archduke but all I have heard from him is "If something happens we'll tell you." Pretty standard CCP fare

I spent a few years in a corporate scene during my twenties. They have something up their sleeves they are dying to show off, I can smell it. I dare not speculate for fear of expecting too much.

If you track my forum post you can actually follow along as I changed from optimistic Minja with no core skills to Coldhearted bittervet with too much isk and sp.
