For starters, I want to say thank you to CCP and the CPM for the event. Now with that out of the way, on to the topic of conversation.
From the perspective of a closed beta vet, really easy to complete. I did it on my main in about 2 hours Friday morning right after down time before going to work. That's with SP in the 140-150 M range.
My first alt took a wee bit longer, after returning from work in the afternoon, maybe by an hour or an hour and a half or so. The intensity of the battles had increased considerably along with 8 vs 12, 9 vs 14, etc., unbalanced teams. SP on this character, 25-30 M.
My second alt was an altogether different story. A low SP character on the high side of 14 M. Closer to six hours I guess.
My second account was really a grind fest. All three characters at +/- 8.2 M SP. Basically all snipers at this point in their careers. No logi suits, had to run NEO acquired from salvage and strong boxes. Standard gear to work with, if I had any at all. No maxed Suit Upgrades like my main account. Most matches I ran starter assault fits.
So with this in mind, it occured to me that we all started out somewhere. The players joining today have it much harder than we all did.
Proto Stomping wasn't such a problem. It was too hard to grind out the SP required and the cost was prohibative to say the least.
We had a much larger player base to work with. Teams in any match of any variety were full. Not necessarily balanced, but a full 16 vs 16 match.
So in conclusion I'd like to say: C'mon peeps, lighten up on the noobs. After all, they're people too.
Sort of.
I guess.
Never mind... just stomp the ever living S**T OUT OF 'EM!

Off topic. - what's with alts.
Why do people have them?
Wouldn't it be best to have all that SP on one character?
Wouldn't you prefer 1 character with 180m instead of one with 140,30, and 15?
Just curious.

It goes back to the days when the weekly SP bonus was only 190K. Complete that, start the next character. Capping two in a week was not a prob. Three was for me though, hence the low SP on the second alt. That all changed when they upped the SP cap to, what is it now, 720K?

As for alts I think the SP cap and the fact that you can only have 30 dropsuit fittings is a big part of it,

I enjoyed the event. Actually trying to get the BPO for a scrubby alt I typically don't use. The lack of SP brings me back. =ƒÿ¦ |

I ran pure slayer on my main, averaging 2k wp per match finished in a little over an hour. On my 12 mil sp alt I ran scout and just hacked everything I saw and carried a militia rep tool for extra points. Took a bit over 2 hours. Should be easy for even the greenest players to achieve provided they exit the redline and actually engage in the fights overall a pretty solid event with a neat little trinket for a prize.

MLT links and a MLT rep tool would have had it done for you in under 2 hours on any account. I do not advocate MLT equipment in any situation but it would have done the job and cost you zero SP.

With how easy the event was I didn't bother to actually try with it. I just played like I normally do and I was able to complete it.
