I ONLY play mass drivers. For 2 years straight I have exclusively used only this weapon- so devs, please pay attention. These happen FREQUENTLY. IF you don't get many reports on them, it's likely because it's not the most popular weapon to use, and the players who do use it don't use it as often or as exclusively as I do to notice.. Anyways..
1) When attempting to quickly switch from one mass driver to another (while dual wielding), instead it will reload the first one- or melee. This has resulted in a great many deaths.
It seems to usually happen while jumping and pressing R2 quickly.
2) Sometimes mass driver rounds will cause 0 damage- direct hits or splash. I've experienced this with Freedom and Pyrus models. Point blank range at weak characters and even drop uplinks.
It seems to usually happen shortly after switching out identical suits at a supply depot.
3) Mass Driver reload animation appears to be a different weapon instead.
(Plasma cannon?- I'm not sure what weapon, but it's not glitched graphics, it's simply the wrong weapon ani)
4) When I changed my 2 Freedoms, 1 complex shield ext and 1 enhanced shild ext to 1 Freedom, 1 Pyrus and 2 complex shield ext's, it would constantly disconnect me from the server. -No loadout error message, just "An error has occured and you have been disconnected"- each time I tried to deploy or access the marketplace.
Setting my suit back to its original loadout seemed to fix this.
Also, my warbarge Augmented Ammo is at 5%. My Minmatar Commando gives me a 10% boost. Finally I have a 7% complex damage modifier. All separate damage boosting stats that should not conflict with each other or have stacking penalties. Yet I don't seem to notice a 22% damage output increase at all. Does this only apply to direct hits and not splash? How can I see the OVERALL COMBINED NET DAMAGE OUTPUT of my primary weapon???
Please, allow us to see our OVERALL COMBINED NET DAMAGE OUTPUT with each weapon equipped- not just it's base damage plus whatever modules are added to our suit. At this point all we can do is guess, and that's unacceptable with the amount of stats and math we need to consider as mercs. We should be able to immediately see the number effects of any modifications we put our hard earned time into.
Please, devs, for the love of all things Dust- no more graphical updates. Fix the gameplay mechanics first. Tighten up response time, make bandwidth more efficient. Please.
And if you insist on adding more arbitrary graphics that don't affect gameplay, at least add some trees.
Thanks.
