I was wondering if it is possible to determine where a particular item originated from. I have a Quafe Minmatar Medium skin that I believe I salvaged or got from a box and my friend believes he loaned it to me. I don't want to rip him off but I also don't want to give up this skin that is rightfully mine. If it is possible to determine where this item came from it would set my mind at ease! Thank you in advance for any help on this matter! |

I don't think there is a way of tracking this kind of trade, out side of putting in a petition with CCP and even then I don't think they track that, if he is saying he loaned it to you, and you didn't ask for it or he didn't tell you he was doing this, then its on him and his loss really!
Its up to you if you want to give it to him but if he is lying, I would say its time to get some new friends! But if not find out when he did this date/time so you can add it to the petition so they can confirm. (if they will)

The only possible way as far as i know, to get a quafe skin is to get them by AUR, the dont drop on the encrypted boxes and certainly you cant get them as salvage.

I do not think he is lying, just a confusion about where the skin came from. He is a good person and so am I, and I don't want any feelings hurt or either of us feeling like they got ripped off. |
