Please note that this is my personal opinion which has come from personal experience. I think that one of the reason for corp hoping is the desire for a new environment. A player is bound to get bored by playing with the same guys everyday , so here is what I think can motivate players to stick to their corps:
1: *Corp exclusive Skins/Uniforms or Tags visible on the clone* This will not only be a good motivation but also a really cool way to identify yourselves.
2: Corp exclusive War room. This will be just the the warbarge before the pc and fw the only purpose this will serve is that if you feel lonely in your merc quarters join the room and chill with corp buddies.
3: Corp bonuses Allow the CEO to purchase a skill which will imply to all the corp members. For eg: 1% bonus isk gains, 1% sp gains or something like that. Please no damage or speed stat bonus, just the isk, sp and such stuff.
4: Corp Exclusive markets (Not district market, this is different) Allow the players to setup a market, by putting up their surplus gears with their own price (With a limit). Only the corp members can buy and sell stuff here.
5: Corp banners Its like a flag or a projection will be present in your merc quarters or the corp War room. It will contain the symbol of your corp.
6: More content options for corp description Give the CEOs or the founders more space to add more content regarding this corporations. For eg: Their history, origins or background, their motives/goals and such cool stuff.
See these changes are quite minor but they hit the spot. This will motivate the players and also attract more players to the game.
Open to thoughts and suggestions. You are welcomed to add more (I'd appreciate that).

I love everything you suggested, Raven, but instead of a corp exclusive market, maybe it can be similar to the menu for our personal assets. It can be called corporation assets and is only accessible to the corporation's CEO and it's directors.

Hello there, and I'm speaking from just personal opinion, and not experienceGǪ. but I want to suggest an argument against adding "motivations" to corp recruitment.
Not to shoot your idea down (it's a good idea), but just to make debate.
One of the hardest things for PS3 consoler players to read about this game is that it's supposed to be almost ALL Social-Driven. Some of us longterm players understand that because we witnesses through the beta/release periodGǪ for the newest players it's the the hardest to see. Learning the gam's parts was meant to be done by socializing with other players.
Advice was supposed to be accessed though socializing with other players.
Motivating a Casuleer to hire your corp was (is) supposed to be done by sociallizing and successfully broadcasting the value of your corp to potential clients.
Motivating a Merc to be recruited and stay in your corp was supposed to be done by a good "sell pitch" and good social management of this "club" you've formed. Conrade-ship is supposed to hold your corpmates together, and some of the best corps illustrate that with their strong reputtion (reputation for slaying, rep for helping and teaching, rep for good-nature without malice, and so on). I've seen a couple of corps 180 members strong, who may have entirely left Dust for other games, but deliberately did not leave their corp (maybe they plan to return, I don't know).
The same way a Dust player can't "buy" or bribe an Eve Capsuleer to hire her corp for an important job, I'm not sure you're any good at creating and managing a corp if you can't hold it together through social interaction with your members, and have to give them all sorts of money-lover treats to motivate them to stay.
LOTS of players drool over the idea of "creating a corp all my own", but most of them just aren't good organizers or social-managers.
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...
No story can have life without writers and publishers.

The Corporation Assets menu would work almost the same way but only the corporation's CEO and directors can access it and give them to other members.
