I only run proto in fw & pc really, but when i see a pub stomp i laugh. The bonus for the expense is minor. I kill proto suits in my bpo's. 100% bpo suits, apex with mlt bpo mods. ttk is so short these days it really isn't that hard. The biggest problem you have is they are usually in squad and if you are solo you need to isolate or ambush one at a time.
The biggest advantage they have is more sp. So quit spreading your sp around like Herpy's. Go deep. If you have 20m sp and more then one suit/weapon you are doing it wrong. Also if they are pc ready they have pc fittings. If your running a random assortment of mods while their mods are focused, you are at a huge disadvantage.
Another advantage a noob would lack is game optimization. Vets like me setup their system to not lag, it is alot of constant work and there is no quick, permanent fix. Alot of noobs and even some vets don't know all the in's and outs of it. Hardware optimization, the new meta game.
If you run into a pub stomp in proto gear, run free stuff & stick to other players. And always remember

And join a good corp so your not always solo. It helps.

Not a bad idea, i prefer team tactic's but kill anyones 2 ofc/proto suits and they are unlikely to bring a third
