I have a few friends in the beta but as they are a part of different corporations (auto-assigned), I cannot play with them. Instead I play with alot of players without mics or (worse still) a player like last night that yelled, not talked, trash the entire game. Every time he died and was around a friendly, he blamed the friendly for his death. Plus, noob this and noob that; how dare CCP put him on a noob team like this, and the only reason he's going to lose is because he's on a noob team. We ended up winning in the end no thanks to that individual.
Don't worry. I am getting to the point.
DUST is supposed to be a very team based game yet I am not being able to test alot of the team based aspects. Therefore, please enable someway to play with existing friends after the upcoming wipe. It doesn't have to be full on corp options but at least allow people to invite others to their default corp or something. I would greatly appreciate it and would think it would prove beneficial as not only will more people would want to play the beta if they could play with existing friends but the team based aspects could be covered better by teams who are used to playing together in other games. Plus, those having trouble with the game can work through it together with their friends instead of having to ask randoms that don't always give as truthful or as nice an answer as you were hoping for. |

Indeed. Though regardless its sad that I dont see any mention of a grouping system in the next patch. |

We tried teaming up on the same server but never could. I guessed it was due to our assigned corps as two of my friends who are on the same corp can play together but I can't play with either of them. In any case, would love some friend options to make it is easier to play with my DUST friends. |

Not to be difficult, but you guessed wrong. Right now, the matchmaker is assigning players "randomly". CCP has already stated that they will be adding support for groups in the future. Or in CCP speak "Soon".

I think it might be being withheld for testing purposes. It's probably easier to see balance issues when you don't have to factor in organized teams steamrolling randoms.

Yeah, it is pretty difficult to team up with someone, I can't imagine trying to do it with more than one other. I was having a little luck with a friend, us queuing up at the same time would generally get us in the same game, but most of the time on opposite teams. One of us delaying slightly sometimes got us together, but it was really iffy. |

Well, hopefully soon is actually soon. After last night I'm thinking of possibly holding off on playing the beta further until the grouping system is implemented as it had been frustrating and not too fun. |

It won't be in the next build, the next build is already finalized. The grouping system ties into a couple other systems, which are also not finished. There simply wasn't enough time.
It might make it in for the build after the upcoming one, though. |
