Please accept our sincere apologies for the delayed response. We still hope that Warlords 1.3 some of our future plans and ideas we cannot yet comment on can restore some of the faith in DUST 514. Thank you for pointing out that Forum thread, this brightened up an otherwise dull Monday morning!

I got to listen into a guy who hacked some files from CCP's Testing files. They have lots of cools stuff waiting to be released. Vehicles, Weapons, and different ways of implementing vehicles. They have a lot but they don't want to add a whole bunch because even a small change gets abused by the player base every time.
Our brothers who are always so helpful to destroy the integrity by creating officer farms, Mulitple alts breaking millions and trillions from continuing to biomass and send isk back into their own pockets. There is so much that really crappy people do to just get an edge.
I believe CCP is upset with us and views us as an enemy destroying their good intentions every chance we get. So I don't blame them for being quiet with us. It's been completely detrimental to be honest to us look at what happened to rouge. Look at whats happened to everything.
CCP did not kill this game. People abusing broken game mechanics killed this game. I am also guilty of it. o7

I messed up back when the gal logi scan 360 triple dam modded duvolle and RE's worked unbeatably. I feel bad in retrospect. Every 50 -70 kills match was not worth it I can't take it back and I wish I could.

Reminds me of the old trick in BF3.
You couldn't teamkill in vehicles, but you could kill people by driving it right at them and hopping out at the last second.
Was abused for ages until they patched it

There is no such thing as "abusing broken game mechanics" if the game isn't broken. It's disgusting that CCP would release such an terribly buggy game that has such exploits. People use what they can, if the game is broken and they find ways to use that, then good luck to them.
CCP has indeed killed this game, by making it so terribly buggy and ridiculous. You can't blame people for playing the game as well as they can with whatever they can. |

Im not quite sure idf that is true to be honest.
If game will be flawless people will not have chance to abuse system.
What is basicaly issue of game not people.
Otherwise the part where CCP is upset from us, that will be different storry.
CCP are same people like we are, do not have them on pedestal.
They are aware of our passion for game and i think they see it like possitive thing.
For example:
I know im sometimes really negative, but that is just because i like this game.
And i know most of people here are same.
CCP know this and that is not something to be upset.
What i think about CCP they like our community, they are little hidden behind concept because reouge weding nonsence.
That is whole story.
They still working on game, sadly we mostly do not know how or what new will be there but think they trying their best.
(hopefully one day will be dust bugfree, without FoTM and stable)
Yup sometimes implements are little contraproductive (like many time before - L4Z0rs 514, AR 514, Flaylock 514, Tanks 514 etc.) but they are still just people and people doing misstakes and learning from them.

CCP bears all the responsibility for introducing those broken mechanics.
If the core of your game design depends on your player base to be altruistic you have failed utterly at producing a good FPS.

So many unanswered questions:
Why did they farm out Dust development to a no name, no experience team in Shanghai, China, of all places? So they could pay sweatshop wages? No disrespect to the Chinese devs but if you're making the game they supposedly wanted to make, go big or go home!!
How could they possibly believe the game was ready for release with Uprising 1.0?
Why would CCP, the company that wants its games to have long life spans and continually evolve, choose the PS3 for its platform right before PS4 came out and PS3 started sliding into obsolescence?
Why did they commit to an engine and a platform that kept them hamstrung from the start?
How could they have imagined us ending up anywhere but right here when they weren't willing to invest in better graphics and decent performance?
Why release the game without all the suits, guns and vehicles?
WHY, in the name of all that is holy, would they have a fairly long beta period (with horrendous graphics), the purpose of which should be to balance the game and fix bugs, and then release the game in a drastically different form with new bugs and so little gameplay balance that it's taken until this last hotfix to finally get there more or less?
Why announce Legion and the end of any real focus on Dust at Fanfest at a point when the player base was desperately hoping for a sign of anything fresh and new coming for Dust, only to completely drop Legion and try to salvage Dust with Rattati? Dust never recovered from the Rouge Wedding.
We'll never know the answers to these questions, except for the obvious. CCP is run by INCOMPETENT nerds who dream big but have no clue how to make a successful game.
They had one good idea with EVE and milked it. They had enough pathetically patient and roped-in neckbeards (sound familiar?) playing EVE that they were able to take their time iterating it over years and years.
Guess they thought that would work with Dust on the PS3 too. Like I said: incompetent.
