Background Story
There were fifty of them in all, milling around the large hall, with gold-engraved walls and crystal chandeliers, it looked more like the front room of an Amarrian palace than the meeting hall of an Academy. I looked at the other professors, waiting on the side of a wide polished-wood stage. They nodded.
Making sure the microphone built into my button up suit was on and working I walked onto the stage. In the a loud and affirming voice I said, GÇ£Welcome students!GÇ¥
In a span of roughly 10 seconds, the hall went silent and 50 faces turned my direction. Remembering the speech I had prepared I said, GÇ£This is the Fire and Gold Academy of New Eden, where we train you to become independent mercenaries capable of being a deadly fighting force. Here you will learn basic training and proceeding with your lessons you will begin advanced training after that. To elaborate on what I mean, basic training are the skills that you will need to survive here in New Eden as a mercenary, such as isk management, battle strategy, etc. Advance training is much more specialized and will differ and what you want to become, a logistics, assault, scout, sentinel, or commando.GÇ¥
GÇ£You will be trained by the Professors behind me.GÇ¥ As I said this the teachers walked from the side of the stage directly to the back of me. GÇ£Each of these Professors are specialized in their subject, and are the best of the best in that area. Many of them of former mercenaries themselves.GÇ¥
GÇ£You came here as mortals, but you shall leave here the best of the immortals. Your name will be remembered across New Eden for eternity. Now here at this academy, we push you past your mortal limits but do not worry, you will be immortal and ready to face those challenges at the right time.GÇ¥
GÇ£My name is Director Kilmer, but I am known across the galaxy simply as Blaze. I will be the overseer of this academy, unlike other heads of other academies I do things differently, I will be teaching alongside your Professors as well.GÇ¥
GÇ£Now, meet at your assigned dormitories and meet in the mess hall at exactly 0600. Your teachers will be introduced to you tomorrow as well as your squad, which you will be your teammates in the simulations you will go through.GÇ¥
GÇ£Go, and in due time, you will be gods among men.GÇ¥
Corporation Public Chats
-FGACD VisitorsGÇÖ Quarters: Our corporation pub chat, all are welcome to join. It is mandatory for all Corbulo Academy students and teachers to be in it.
-PIE Ground Control: FGACD students will be doing Amarr Faction Warfare in this existing fw channel.
-State Task Force: An existing Caldari Faction warfare channel.
-Luchent Echelon: This is an existing Gallente Faction Warfare chat and where Corbulo students will be doing GFW.
-FGACD Valklears: This is our Minmatar Faction Warfare chat because there is no current Minmatar Faction Warfare channel.
Note: Corbulo students are required to be in at least one faction warfare channel at all times.
-ALPHAGÇÖS SUPPLY DEPOT: This will be the trading channel where trades will take place. All Corbulo students are required to be in this channel unless they have another trading channel open.
-FGACD Training Grounds: This is where we will set up training Planetary Conquest battles. Please contact XxBlazikenxX to set up a time. He will also be contacting several corporations for that reason.
Private Chats
-FGACD Business: This is where all corporation to corporation deals will take place. All Professors are required to be in this chat. If you have a business transaction you wish to speak to our board of directors about, contact me and I will invite you to this channel for that transaction.
-FGACD Lounge: This is the private meeting place of the staff of Corbulo, no one outside the corporation is allowed inside this channel and only Professors from FGACD are allowed in here. I will invite directors only to this channel.

Students
This section is for mercenaries of 30 million SP and younger. To enroll in FGACD Academy there is no requirement, but on your application you must have these things on it:
-Your cloneGÇÖs date of birth: You can find this out at dustboard.com
-How you found out about Dust 514
-What do you like playing as?
-What time do you play at mostly? (EVE time)
Tuition: 7% tax which will lower to 3% when we reach 25 members, and lower to 1% when we reach 100 members. This funds training PCs as well as the employment of your teachers.
Curriculum
Class will be in session once we reach 50 students, and will involve a number of things, from basic strategies to specialization in a role. This is what will make us different from any other corporation.

Teachers:
To teach students, we of course need teachers. To become a teacher you must have at least 30 million SP and must have been playing for over a year. You will receive a weekly paycheck, much like a regular school. You will also be granted special access to private FGACD channels as well as directorship within the Corporation. However, fearing the corp wallet being stolen, it will be kept in an offshore account that is only accessible by me and the most trusted directors.
Application:
Please provide the following.
-Lifetime SP
-What makes you want to be a teacher of new mercenaries?
-What time do you usually play? (EVE time)
What makes us different?
It is obvious to me that NPE is not going to be radically changed in the near future, so it is up to the players to change it. What I do every single match is I go to the bottom of the leaderboard on the enemy team, and I mail him something to the effect of, GÇ£Are you new to this game?GÇ¥ He replies, GÇ£Yes, it seems very hard.GÇ¥ I say back, GÇ£Well donGÇÖt worry about doing good right now, what matters is that you learn, if you want a home and a place to learn how to get better, send in an application to the Fire and Gold Academy.GÇ¥
Here we turn freshly minted blueberries into toughened reliable mercenaries. Here we turn those mercenaries into gods of war.
Extra Information
FGACD is not loyal to any one faction, we are mercenaries and fight for the highest bidder.
How to join:
Search FGACD in corporation search to join and apply.
Milestones:
25 members: tax lowered to 3%
50 members: School will be officially in session. Teachers will begin to receive their paychecks.
100 members: Tax lowered to 1%
