I got 27 construct imperial scr from strong box so I use them on my assault ak.0 but I can't seem to kill anything with more than 700 armor without overheating even if I did not use a charge shot and I'm even screwed if 2 armour based suits come ccp overdid the nerf on the scr proving it to be one of the worst weopons in dust because I feel that the gun lost it's killing potential
Stafes like a boss =ƒÿÄ jumps higher than the MCC

Scr is anti-shield not anti-armor
SMG is anti-armor which will melt away the armor after you finished their shields with the scr

the rail is and has always been broken teh AR is only broken with the use of a galass amar hvy with 1k armor vs a galass ar = one pissed hvy

Problem
#1- using lasers on 700 armor
#2- (correct me if wrong) using lasers on close to mid range.
#3- using lasers
#4- Amarr.

Scrambler is meant for long range. I saw a vid a few days ago and saw the scrambler be used in what I like to call as "the right way".
The key is to spam charge shots. Start with one full charge. If enemy is still in sight, do a half charge and spam. That should finish off.

SCrR is anti-shield boyko.
Just max specs up, use it on medium range and you will see how deadly it actually is.

That's how it's supposed to be. If it were a hybrid class weapon then you could complain but it's a laser weapon, shield oriented, now all they have to do is do the same thing to the laser rifle (because I should not be able to kill 3 armor tanked suits in a row with a single clip) Think of it as a short range, charge, anti-shield sniper rifle.

Lasers are not meant for dealing with Armor.
That's what Rail Rifles, Combat Rifles, and Assault Rifles are for. Well, those and basically every other non-laser weapon in the game.
Lasers: for when you want to take out shields and nothing else!

Yeah, the scrambler sucks now. I only used it against proto-stompers, now I don't use it at all. After committing suicide via scrambler about 4 times in a row, I switched to the breach AR

My scr still gets the job done, but at the cost of being level 5 ,prof 3 and warbarge damage boost to 4 plus 2 krins on my opus. It will melt shields but have to be a good shot to finish the armor. Or like you guys said pop to side arm and let it fly.

Well the ScR is quite difficult if you're not prepared.Using Laser weaponry means that a sidearm is a must. Try this, 3 normal shots then switch to sidearm. If you don't finish him off, switch back.
The ScR recently is mostly for those times when....."you see that guy? Yeah the caldari scout, F*ck that guy in particular"

scr is fking garbo, but AScR has great hit detection, great for killing jumpers.
amarass still gives a bonus to lasers too, its a good suit.
other than that-
use a cr on any suit, rr on calmando or calass, or galass assault rifle. theyre good. the scr is trash. end of story.

Its funny how you can use any light weapon on any assault and it will remain deadly. But scr on any other assault other than amarr assault is just trash. Any other suit* to be more precise. Hell the scr is still trash on ak.0 assault if you are up against people who are not using starter fits. Now when you add up the broken heat mechanic <- lulz no wonder this game is dying.

Scr does not perform well now, mainly to people who have programmable controllers. CCP had to take action and I am glad that they did, in fact I would like to see some action taken to somehow make programmable controllers not function at all.
Probably the only way or easiest way to do this would be to remove the extra damage of one shots and semi-autos from the game.
Before you blast me, think about the good of the game and the players not yourself. I run ASCR and hate getting gacked by a weapon that is semi-auto but is acting like a full auto with extra damage.

The ScR is trash now. I only use it on my opus fit when I want to save isk, which isnt often. On the bright side of things, Im actually getting use out of my Galass w/ TAR now..

well am glad someone notice it, the scr is trash now even when you have it max all out and for all you people that talking about well you have to use a sidearm go and try out an tac ar or breach or any shield weapons against an armor suit and see if sidearm are necessary dumb motherfvckers

I guess you need to get good. I can still use it, and I'm not the only one. Try to use less jumpy modules like you usually do and use damage modifiers. It's not that hard man :/

Not true, it is a good weapon, but it is outclassed by other assaults.

the reason its get outclassed its because the weapon get nerf from the last hot fix... either you spam or charge shot it still overheats too quick even the amarr assault bonus could not save it from overheat too quickly. it needs a tweak
