I just acquired two more 'Quafe' BPOs but instead of feeling joy I felt sadness knowing I am not able to sell them to someone.
Then I got to thinking about what would happen if full BPO trade became available tomorrow and what kind of effect full BPO trading would have on the game. I know a lot of people probably have a bunch of BPOs they are ready to sell.
What I have that I am willing to sell when allowed is 6 BPO Dropsuits, 12 'Quafe' Weapons, 5 Standard Weapon BPOs, 2 'Quafe' LAV BPOs and 3 LAV BPOs.
Do you think the effect of opening up full BPO trade would be good for gameplay experience or bad?
How many BPOs do you have to sell if trading is allowed for all BPOs? |

I don't think it would have too much of a negative impact, since it all is only Standard gear. Many Standard pieces are absolute garbage, and Standard dropsuits, in my opinion, aren't worth it at all. If you've got decent gun-game and you're situationally aware, only dying maybe three or four times a match, even a full standard suit (APEX for example) only saves you, what, 6k per death? And you gain how much per match? Anyone going crazy over Standard BPO for any reason other than the unique name and trade value probably needs to be introduced to Militia BPOs.
That said, once trading opens up, I've got a Swarm Launcher, a Shotgun, and three LAV to get rid of. Not much, but I don't do keys very often, so nice enough for me.
The thought that Dust 514 may one day be the game we dreamed it to be.

I have 50+ Quafe duplicates to sell, 15 or so Dren packs to move on.
I've spent far too much on this game, but damn, if it isn't addictive at times.
Archduke - do you have stats anywhere on most strongboxes opened?

But to the OP, a flood will keep prices down. The longer we wait for full trading, the less they'll be worth.

I have no bpo's i got 1 quafe sniper rifle and thats it.
Starter Fit Suits are OP :-)

I only have one quafe lav, and a few apex. But I get officer gear all the time, an Anaheim do you still trade?

In fact, it's one of the key components missing from DUST 514. Then again... we also need an opt-in system that other games have and not this trust-based "Simple player trading" system for it to really work.
