Coming on the forums earlier today gave me an urge to get a few games in and I can't even get any other type of match. Domination is lazy and boring. Do people really have fun playing it?

When I used to play Domination I noticed a lot of people would never really push the objective and go for the hack because without Codebreaker Modules equipped a person usually gets killed mid hack. If people could hack the objective faster it would help combat annoying **** like Commandos with Mass Drivers camping the objective. I think it might also allow the matches to be more dynamic instead of it just being one team holding the objective the entire match; or at least it would give the impression that particular match is more dynamic than it really is.

Dom is fun when both teams push and there's a lot of back and forth, but most just turn into one team camping/being camped or explosives spamfests. Some of the Dom maps are rather obtusely designed (I'm lookin' at you, Cal Production Facility and that one where the letter can be sniped comfortably from both redlines), too, and should be tweaked to reduce their outright terribleness. Reality is the original Rorschach.

The reason dom is popular is because heavily fortified positions leading to meat grinders are the only truly fun thing in dust, And the simplicity leads to this, anything interfering with the meat grinder is unpopular. Plus the scanner is super effective there (which encourage scrubs to use it there so they can gangrae better players as themselves) And very important: you can roof camp the *** out of every map in dom...do basically the best mode for no gungame, camp, crutch tryhard scrubs....
