Well, they're certainly not OP, by any means, and the regular nades are probably still better, but the Thukker Grenades are a LOAD of fun. I've been running them on my Scout. They actually make for a really cool assassination option, or as a finisher. I haven't had much success using them as an opener, but then again I am running Knives and a Flaylock, so... Shotgun Scout running at you? Thukker. BLAP. No more Scout. Thukker Grenades will OHK all Scouts and Starter Fits. They are still a hipster weapon, definitely, but it makes me happy running them. So I was in my Minja and two reds were about to hack a point. One was another Minja who guarded his red whilst he hacked (kinda stupid considering HE'S the one with the hack bonus). But yes, I zerged them both. As he saw me he ran towards me and stabbed and killed me with Nothi's Nova Knives, just before my Thukker smacked into his face. Boom. Kill +50. I now fully understand why we are only allowed to carry one of them at a time. We need a Standard or Advanced Contact Grenade that can be purchased with ISK. Equipping the Thukker Grenade to an APEX GalAssault takes up too much CPU/PG. There is a Fused Locus Grenade that can only be purchased with Aurum but I think it would be good to make a variant that can be purchased with ISK.
