Just like I used to wake up early for Saturday morning cartoons....
...to be entertained.
...to have a little fun.
...to de-stress by blapping reds with a PLC and raining destruction from the cockpit of an Incubus.
...to mow down on some salty biscuits and tear-gravy before the wife gets up and makes me eat muesli instead of bacon and eggs (I need my sodium, dammit!!).
I've put money into this game...I don't even know how much, but probably had some sort of booster running my first 8-10 months of play, and then for blueprint LAVs, and a couple hundred thousand in Aurum for BPO militia weapons, an APEX suit (Galmando, of course), skins, and the like.
I spent money on what I wanted to make the game more enjoyable. In my case, my KDR is atrocious...I die a LOT...and I'm always hungry for ISK...for the feeling that I have enough to run whatever I want, whenever I want, and not be afraid to lose it. Flying an ADS is a costly business.
The boosters? Well...I'm not a revered beta vet. I came into a harsh, harsh world...and gaining skills as quickly as possible was the key to making the game more enjoyable. NPE? Yah...tough...but I found the game compelling so I invested in my enjoyment.
Dust isn't a college education or a trade.
Dust isn't a house.
Dust is a game. If you like to play, play it. If you don't...fine with me. But don't tell me why I shouldn't play...and that I'm selfish or wrong if I do.

I discovered I have a 1 one day active omega booster and 2 one day active boosters. Going to plug them in tomorrow after downtime.
It's gonna be a good time.

I think I have a couple 1-day boosters...but also an impending trip to IKEA for a couch and some rugs. What...to...do??
