So... about those war barges we have. Only one thing has bothered me about them. If every merc has their own warbarge, why aren't we living on them? I feel like they would be more justifiable in a lore standpoint if they were our base of operations, where our inventories were kept, where our merc quarters are located. Dose new Eden really have the available resources to give everyone a warbarge? Do they all have a crew operating them? Where dose that crew come from, and why would they work for us? Why aren't we paying them?
Dose anyone else feel the same way?

I think if a solo player manages to get 1500 WPs then they should be allowed to call in their own personal Warbarge Strike. |

That is another good point that need some explanation. maybe we can't afford the orbital strike cannons, yet somehow afford an entire warbarge?

Son (or sister), you need to do what I've been doing simce playing EVE starting in 2008 GÇô use your imagination!
CCP don't do a lot of things. At some point, you have to give in to the RP.
For instance, my EVE characters don't fly ships in a pod of goo. They fly normally in a cockpit with a wookie co-pilot. Likewise, the room my mercs are in is based on the second moon of Hek V and on the other side of the door are mean creepy squid-like things trying to eat my brains.

Okay, so I feel like the warbarge is a bit of a gimmick, and that it was just put there for monetizing intentions, but thats only a nitpicky concern, I'm more worried about how well it can be laced into the new Eden universe.

You can. Make a squad w just you, lock it. Then you can use squad leader options.

The amount of WPs a squad has to earn to get a Major Warbarge Strike is not reasonable for one person to do on their own (isn't it over 3000 WPs to get a Major Warbarge Strike?).
In order to get a Warbarge Strike I would have to adjust my gameplay strategy to focus on WPs instead of focusing on actually winning and doing what is best for my team. |

Back in closed beta. Ccp had the model but NOW its a freaking painting = really? Not even a model. I want to walk free and see the RDV up close not being restricted.

You act like major strikes are the only ones that exist. How much is the lowest level strike?
