I ran up on this guy who was slaughtering my team. He was at a supply depot changing fittings so I started blasting him with my 'Quafe' Shotgun.
The guy quickly picked a fitting, switched to it and then proceeded to rapidly switch to a new fitting over and over again. Because of the immunity to damage granted when you switch suits at a Supply Depot this guy survived being blasted repeatedly with every round in my clip; long enough for his teammate to run up at which time they proceeded to 2v1 me while I was in my paper-thin Scout suit.
Let's make it so we can blast people away at any moment during the process of someone switching fittings. |

Lol, that sounds funny...
But I think instead of removing the immortality, just have it so anyone using the supply depo dies instantly when you start hacking it... Then people wont risk things like that. |

That would not work. This person knew I was there and was purposely changing suits long enough to allow one of his teammates to make it over to him to kill me. |

Sound like a good fix! good glitch and i would call it a exploit, but im gonna on his part.

Better yet, have the immunity only last from the first suit change, so that switching to one suit grants immunity, but rapidly switching does not.

Might not be fixable, but that's an invulnerability exploit in mine eyes. I'll see what can be done about it.
WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

Being able to change suits on the field without loosing your current suit is bad.
You should be willing to loose whatever you bring to the battlefield.
If you switch on a supply depot, you should loose a clone and the suit.
If you leave the battle you loose the suit and a clone. (would help with the early quitters aswell).

Hmm.
If I'm not mistaken, CCP said they fixed it like a year ago or so.
Maybe fix was undone?

No that fix was to make it so your health didn't autojump to 100% on suit swap.
Might have been beter off with a 10 sec suit re-swap delay

All SD should be move to Redline - that the only reasonable fix for them. Infantry would no longer complain on Jack's of all trades. Vehicle player would be also very happy, if only Redline SD would be on ground level, next to map socked.

When someone is hacking installation and player from opposite team 'use' this installation, hack progress is instantly canceled.
