Heyas,
Back when I bought my PS3 it came with a piece of paper with a Dust 514 beta code on it, and I thought I'd check it out. It was totally buggy and a POS back then.. so I just closed it and never really thought about it again.
I came back a couple years ago , found out I had like 11mil SP and thought I'd give it a go, but didn't really get into it.
AND NOW .. I have 23 million SP , 10 mil of which is unallocated. Anyone wanna help with some general advice? Heres the skills I do have:
Dropsuit Command 3 > Amarr Medium Dropsuit 5
Dropsuit Upgrades 2 > Armor Upgrades 5 > Armor Plating 5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Core Upgrades 5 > Electronics 5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Shield Upgrades 5 > Extension 5, Recharging 5, Regulation 5
Weapon 3 > Handheld Weapon Upgrade 5 >>>>>>>>>> Light Weapon Operation 5 > Laser Rifle Operation 5 > Ammo Capacity 5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Reload 5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Proficiency 5 > Fitting Optimization 5

Any Help is appreciated |

Based on your current skills i'd put some points in Amarr assault and scrambler rifles, you'll have a decent assault fit. not FOTM but competitive enough.
Laser rifle is viable in some situations but you'll need points in Amarr assault to make it work.

Here are some things you need to know.
1. All specialized suits have bonuses. By specialized suits I mean any of the following (Scout, Assault, Logi, Sentinel, Commando). They have a class bonus which applies to all races and they have their own bonus which applies to their class and specific race. Knowing what these bonuses are is important when deciding what suit to specialize in.
2. The Assault and Commando classes have bonuses that apply to their racial weapons. If you want to specialize in one of these classes, then you should try to specialize in the weapons for which they have bonuses. Since you have already invested heavily in the laser rifle, you might want to look at the Amar Assault or Commando as they have bonuses that apply to this weapon.
3. The laser rifle has the longest range of all the rifles (except for the sniper rifle) but it sucks at close range. You should be trying to engage your opponents from a distance where your weapon is effective and theirs in not. This is not always practical as some maps don't really allow this. The commando class allows you to carry two light weapons so that you could equip an effective short range weapon as well as your laser rifle. There's a good thread in the learning forum about the laser rifle that explains how to best use it. The most important things to know about it are its range and how it does more damage as it heats up.
Taking what you have already invested in into account and assuming that you want to play as a slayer rather than a support role or a vehicle specialist.
I would spec into....
1. The Amar Commando or the Amar Assault. 2. Max out your armor skills since these suits are armor based. 3. Scrambler rifle operation. The Assault variant seems to be better than the normal variant at this time.

Dropsuit Upgrades 4 >Dropsuit Biotic Upgrades 5 >Dropsuit Core 5 (got it) >Dropsuit Engineering 5 >Dropsuit Electronics 5 (got it) >Precision 5 >Profile Dampening 5 >Range Amplification 5 >Systems Hacking 5
After this, wait until 1.3 drops, or get a single rifle or whatever to Op 3,same with a sidearm.
Also, lol Laser Rifle. Haven't played since they were OP?
