I dont like how often i get killed by grenades. they are very powerful and this game unlike other fps games i does not have a grenade warning indicator. Instead of nerfing them i ask that they have longer fuses (maybe add 2 seconds) to balance them a little bit without adding indicators. I have two reasons:
1. so that if one sees a grenade they have enough time to get out of the kill radius.
2. when i play dust and throw a grenade as far as possible or too high it will blow up before it can hit the ground or reach the target. |

Im not in agreement of this because the timer seems quite generous since the explosive needs a good five seconds to go boom. If you cook it, that time will obviously get shorter to make it harder for the enemy to run. So making the fuse longer in my opinion is not an issue.
My only problem at the moment seems like the radius or hit detection (as stated by many others and IS being fixed possibly June 29th) is a little suspect. Or it doesn't go off after the grenades pin has been pulled, or even worse when Im holding it, pull the pin and try to kamikaze a tight group of enemies the grenade takes only me out when Im right in their face.

I find I have to cook it a bit because it takes so long. Maybe if you are trying to throw grenades off of Mt. Sam (Climbed it first so I named it) in Ambush then they dont have time to hit the ground, otherwise they are fine. |

i think the grenades should blow up sooner... then again i'm used t games were for some bizarre reason, grenades blow up if they touch an enemy. but ive heard theirs a grenade in game that explodes on contact so perhaps that would be a good choice for me. |

I'd say they're fine. My grenades usually don't kill anyone, let alone do damage, unless I hold for three or four seconds before throwing it. I do agree that the hit detection is a little suspect, there were plenty of times this last weekend where I was standing over someone's shoulder with a cooked grenade and I'm the only one who died. |

There is already a thread about a weapon customization. Wouldn't it be cool if everything had some manner of customization such as you could select (in dropsuit setup) how long the equipped grenades would have before they blew?

no, just because you don't see the grenades around you/someone got you with a cooked grenade doesn't mean you can blame the game for your skill. |

Not very many that I've seen in game throw uncooked grenades. So I don't see how increasing the arming time would do anything other than make us take an extra second cooking it before throwing it in your face. |
