Every person can only drop one vehicle at a time. So if you currently have a vehicle on the map, and decide to drop another one, the current vehicle the player has on the map will self destruct to make room for the new vehicle.
Everyone only gets to have one vehicle on the map at a time. this would help prevent vehicle spamming.
32 players means 32 vehicles
25 players means 24 vehicles.

No. Let players decide how to waste their ISK. You should NEED the skills to drive it though, which would limit vehicle numbers tremendously. |

Merc brings down and LAV, but decides to bring down an HAV instead.
The LAV self destructs is response to allow the HAV to be dropped.
Its not really limiting, you can still bring down as many vehicles as you want, you'll just be able to only have one on the battle field at a time.

If I have people on my team that can't afford vehicles that they do have the skill for and I can afford them i should be able to call in what my team needs. |

If you're saying that 32 vehicles is acceptable, why does it matter how we got to 32?
With the talk about "getting so good that the EVE players may buy your stuff for you," why shouldn't Dust players be able to drop vehicles for other Dust players that are a little short on cash, or just because they're amazing drivers and "hey, don't worry, I got this one"?
There's already a limit in-game. I don't know if that's supposed to be there or if it'll be taken out eventually or what. Altering that limitation to be more or artificially restricting, though, just seems unnecessary. |

You guys have to take into consideration the processing power this game has. it wont be able to handle unlimited vehicles. just look at the infinite vehicle glitch and how it slows everything down. |

I honestly haven't experienced that causing slowdown, and I've been present for a number of infinite spawns, even standing right next to it and laughing at the tower of vehicles. If they have to introduce a cap for performance reasons, though, then so be it. I'm totally fine with that. However, arbitrarily imposing additional restrictions on top of that limit is unnecessary in my opinion. |
