I know we all cried about this but iv had enough. I cant handle stomp matches going 9 v 16. Screw that its to frustration to keep playing. Also for some reason damage is not being detected so im physically not able to kill certain people at some points in the game. Last im getting stuck walking next to buildings, railings, and certain boxes on various maps.
Im taking a break cuz game play is hindering my performance to compete fairly. Theres only so much abuse i can take and feeling handy capped is not giving incentive to continue playing the game. Ill try later after i cooled off.

It's an exercise. The quoted lines could be game mails he received or something an opposing player might have said after some game incident. The following line is his reply, which affirms his opening statement that he doesn't care much what happens in Dust anymore.
The "Join Opus" bit has become a meme although you probably could join opus.
As to your complaints about the game mechanics, many of those you just learn to compensate for. I'm weary of being killed by someone shooting around a corner but I just chalk it up to potato internet.
If you're not having fun playing this game then perhaps you should find something else to do with your time.

The real curse is when Scotty pins you 9v16 from the start and people leave from both teams. Then their team refills while more people quit on your team because they saw how unbalanced they are. It's a vicious cycle and Scotty is a troll. |

This mentality is why Dust has one of the lowest New Player Rentention rates. Also it is different than when we first started.
For one, the tutorial and help screens don't automatically show up anymore. There is no guiding hand for them to learn how to skill into stuff and how to fit their suits. Even back before Uprising we had prompts pop up to help us learn.
The SP gap between Vets and New Players is ridiculous. How is a new player with a lifetime SP of 500,000 supposed to compete with someone who has over 50mil SP? When we first started, yeah there was an SP gap, but it wasn't as big as it is today.
The game is way harder for New Players now than it ever was. Yes there is a higher SP cap, but how can they even get close when they are getting stomped to sh.t and are averaging 50-200 WP per match?
Yeah they can get SP and ISK and a damage boost from the Warbage, but without putting money on the game, it can take a couple months, maybe longer! And those SP and damage modules don't show up until later on, and I believe you need a total of 10,000+ components to get that far (I'm talking all together).
Also those who do stay will get better, but very few will actually stay as a new player can only be stomped for so long before they give up.

Yeah , that seems to be working as intended because in a game on a console that has tens of millions of units sold , to be able to field three thousand or five thousand is a struggle for this game , I've never seen it over five thousand on a healthy and continual basis for a game that's F2P and three years old .
CCP is strangling themselves with this flawed frame of thought , that coupled with the fact that the OP pointed out glitches that have existed since the beginning of the game and get zero attention but we can get new features and skins but not fixes for performance issues in-game but again , I guess according to you ... that's how it should stay .
The PS4 wont save that type of flawed thinking and underperformance .

General your an awesome player and you unlike most have the skills and resources to fight back. Its way easier said than done once you have grinded for the amount you have. Im still a newb compaired to you scrub lol

i had no academy when i started. but it didnt stop me from besting all the higher sp players around me. pub stomps were also less frequent.
whats the difference between now and back then?.
well back then we had a funny form of collision damage in which you could lightly tap a proto heavy with a mlt lav and kill him.
as well as different unique ways to adapt and survive which proto stomping dumb asses did not approve of.

This game has gotten so ridiculous that I wish they would just give every squad regardless of size an OB at the beginning of the match to be used at any time and remove WP for OB's just to give the people getting on low player count teams a means of trolling the people who pull officer gear out in those matches. I hate to say it, but this game has become a joke.

Send me a message if you want to squad up when you come back on. I'm on from 20:45 to 23:30 about 5 times a week.
I can't help with the hit detection issues, but running with a group adds to the experience and gives another level of enjoyment to the game.

the weak are weeded out? are you mentally challenged? the teams are unbalanced, it's nothing to do with player performance it's to do with who they are against and who they are with, an unbalanced amount of equally skilled players per team causes imbalance
