The lack of OB support is rather irritating.
Team killed 350 Blueberries to complete the Crimson Harvest event.

The lack of OB support is thanks to normal OBs being in FW now making Eve OBs never get dropped meaning Eve players can not get paid. I have ranted about many fixes for this but it is simply not going to happen.

Why are you asking him to join your corp when joining your corp would make him ineligible to drop factional orbitals?

ok so i thought it was like p.c. and if i was in the same corp as the person calling it in it would work.
but now i'm left to assume that i have to enlist in that factions militia army then i can drop for anyone fighting for that faction in dust, in any batlle.
is that correct? im currently waiting for the 24hr timer to switch factions. thanks

I've been looking for MFW to squad with in DUST, and MFW/GFW to drop OBs on from EVE. Please hook up with me if this is your thing.

That is correct. Once you enlist you can drop ob for any battle on your factions side. If you have an eve player as your ceo they can also enlist your whole corp to faction warfare.

Yes you must be enrolled in the appropriate faction to drop orbitals. Once you are in that faction you may also drop for your factions ally. This means Amarr and Caldari can drop for each other as well as Gallente and Minmatar can drop for each other.
As far as actually joining the faction you have 3 choices.
1. Join the militia corp. This can be done by going to any of their stations and applying.
2. Join a corporation who is enrolled in factional warfare.
3. Join a corporation who is enrolled in an alliance which is enrolled in factional warfare.
Beware of your standings. If you have been doing activities such as dropping orbitals, running complexes, or running missions for an enemy faction your standings with the faction you are trying to join may have become too low for you to be allowed to stay. This will result in a warning which gives you some time to grind missions to get your standings back up but coming from negative standings makes this very difficult and will require the training of some skills depending on how low your standings have gotten.
Hope that helps. |
