Our team flipped enemy point at 690 units, victory is 721, i was already happy to see a match become very interesting, but the match just ended.

I have not seen it personally but I also heard that clone counts can run out as well in back and forth match almost as if they just added a clone number and then hid it on the HUD.
Personally I stopped playing Acq after the first week it was out. It just does not have any type of dynamic feel to it at all. |

Certain AQ maps will run out of clones if you get rid of the spawn points... specifically the one with the extensive pipeline zig-zagging..

No 4th round in Acquisition. Also, the winning team doesn't necessarily have to reach 721 points to win, they just have to have the most points at the end of the 3 rounds.
I played an awesome Acquisition match one time where I managed to hack the third point and was only able to hold it for about 20 seconds before the redberries swarmed me and took it back. Those 20 seconds I was able to hold it though was enough to allow my team to barely win the match by just a few points; neither team had point totals over 700 in this particular match. It ended up being one of the most epic Acquisitions matches I had ever played. |

The thing is that spawn points tend to disappear. And when they do and there are no uplinks anywhere on the map, the game considers that your team lost, and you get a pretty nice defeat screen in the middle of youe fight !
