Yes, this has been said before, but we need it. Im so sick of people stealing my ADS when I leave equipment, or that they take the seat of one of my squad members and that they dont get the hell out of MY dropship.
Please CCP, its not the first time this has been asked. Make it possible, please. |

Please CCP, its not the first time this has been asked. Make it possible, please. The masses have asked. The Devs can't/wouldn't oblige. People are on board with you but it won't happen. Ask if the deploy you in your tank or something. |

Well duh what do you expect? if you get out of a ADS you should pay attention if there is any blues near the area, if you did do that you would still have your ADS and let be honest everybody knows a blue will always steal your dropship or vehicle if you leave it carelessly

Here's a new vid... Two blueberries camping in my tank which is at redline, cooling down. Firing those mandatory useless blaster turrets at far range. Refusing to get out to hack an undefended point. One gets out yea - see what he does?

Vehicle lock/control is totally necessary.
Also wtf is the point of the near 30 second delay on entering friendly vehicles? I can understand if you want to get squad mates in first but spawning an LAV and trying to pick up 2 randoms at the MCC only to have to wait 30ish seconds defeats the whole purpose of calling the LAV!!
How about something a little more intelligent than just locking players out of new vehicles for X amount time? Especially when you're not even in a squad - who or what could a pilot or driver possibly need the passenger delay for when running solo? I mean that's just lazy coding/design.
Throwing in a UI with 3 options would not be very hard for any designer/coder to do...
Vehicles tab of your D-Pad menu becomes the name of the vehicle you called in. You have 3 options within the vehicle tab:
Lock Vehicle (Only you can access it) Squad Lock (Obviously you and your squad) Unlocked (Open to anyone)
If you have random blueberry passengers and change from Unlocked to any Locked setting it will kick out the randoms.
If you have randoms and squad members and change from Unlocked to Squad Lock, randoms will be kicked out while squad members retain access.
If you have squad members and fully lock it, they will be removed.
The only exception to this is Dropships. You can't manually change the lock settings unless you're on the ground or your landing gear has been deployed. To save newbros from being dropped to their deaths lol. |

That was kind of your own fault , if you look you could have seen a RDV delivering an enemy vehicle but you choose to ignore that but focus on who you didn't want in your vehicle and next to an enemy null on top of that , seeing as how no one was getting out to secure the null you should have secured the area instead seeing as how you wasn't getting any help from those whom you didn't want inside .
I always try to flip instances like that in my favor because I'm still trying to keep my investment and it does suck when you get those moments because they do happen a lot but when it's like that I do what I can to not get upset and try to think with a clear mind seeing as how there is nothing that you personally can do about it seeing as how we don't have a kick or lock beyond the calling mechanism .
You have to keep your head in those moments .

locks are not needed.
better team mates with mics are needed.
if it is a pub match, you know your playing with some window lickers, just be aware of that and dont park your **** where ppl can jack you.
many a time i have been saved by jumping in a passing tank to escape certain gangbanging. so i vote against vehicle locks.
