Not arguing with you as i know what you have written is the truth.
However CCP are only stating fact about what they know is up and coming. If there was a port in progress what reason do they have for not saying anything? Are they afraid we will instantly run out and buy ps4's and stop paying into DUST cus its still on ps3 only? Or is there really NOTHING HAPPENING? in which case people will upgrade anyway and leave this incomplete game behind (yes I said incomplete - since we are still vehicles, weapons and any real variation in game modes lacking).
I do see that DUST has come along way in the last year and balance is getting there and i have nothing but thanks for the hard work it took the team to get us there apart from some stupid decisions about introducing jumpy bullsh!t just cus flipping destiny had it.
To reach anything like its full potential as a shooter MMO a port is not what is needed. A true open world game is required in my opinion, EVE on foot if you will.
Having said that... OP, very nice witeup.
Anyone getting annoyed by reading of the above post should consider the following.
I don't care so neither should you :)

So you chose to ignore us then, we scream out weekly want we need, not want NEED. a remake/port whatever you call it.
I call it a future, to many CEO's and corp mates have just given up through lack of knowing where the future leads, it breaks my AI heart to see them go to be replaced by new players who have no grasp or insight to the things this socal game has put us through. Is it really good customer service to treat us like mushrooms by keeping us in the dark and feeding us on.....

Is there a future for Dust 514 beyond SONY'S Playstation 3 console. now please can someone from CCP reply to this with a yes or no answer?
