To clarify: I was not supporting Soul Eater. I was reiterating that KDR doesn't carry that much weight.
As long as you are doing your part to help the team, you are being a team player, who cares about KDR specifically?
Why not look at all-time WP as well?
I know plenty of players with KD's of 2.00+ or higher that are not scrubs. They hold objectives, get plenty of kills, but they also don't have a problem dying for objectives either and usually for every other kill you get (Facing against a good team in either PC or Pub) someone has to die. The Vets in this game who have great KD's and don't sit in the red line to get them just know how to make sure it's their blueberry shield(s) and not them. (Utilizing cover and out-thinking your opponents.) Other people who are team players, are logi's and scouts. Scouts are spammed nowadays and it doesn't take that much to obtain kills with them, but many times they will die. Same with logi's. Your logi's job is to stay alive as long as they can to support their team and then, if need be they will die involuntarily or voluntarily to supply you your ammo, get you on the point, or die so that you don't have to.
I remember when our beloved D4GG3R had a KDR of a little over 2.00. That never made him a bad player. :) |
