Tell me how the heck i get kill assist when i deal ALL the damage to a red?
That makes over 20 times in the past 24 hours!
It also explains why i only have 111 kills in this event!
I work full time, have two kids, and only can play a Game so often, i chose dust for many reasons
However lately, i am considering going elsewhere.
This is horse crap

Ahoy!
Only the killing shot /stab, explosion, hit, etc./ gets the +50 points for a confirmed kill. An event where you need to get 514 kills for the reward opens up a flood of kill-stealing, where some may not even shoot a target till someone else managed to wear them down good. All in good fun though, and it's always been like this, would be a shame to lose you over this.

I've often wondered that myself. You deal almost all the damage to a target then your clip runs out, they're down to skin and you have to either reload or swap to sidearm, and someone else comes along and finishes them off, and all I get is a kill assist.
It's happened the other way too, where I will a kill with a single shot, but that doesn't seem to happen anywhere near as much... :)
I've wondered whether there could have been a different scoring mechanism, where you have a different counter for kills, but the WP is based on the actual amount of damage you did.
I suppose that's probably just too hard......... |

I have been experiencing the same strangeness as the OP
Many kills in a row, all Kill assists.
Recently I have also been noticing that I am getting killed by completely different players/ weapons that I was being attacked by.
I have noticed some rubber-banding weirdness happening as well so that's most likely the cause.
But I have been wondering if there is a bug that is awarding kills to different player in the match.
I am fighting through it as I am currently on a good pace to get the respec but it has been more difficult. |

oh i am gonna keep on killing
got two days off im gonna attempt to throw a few hours of my life away to the 514
i dont have a problem seeing kill assist when im in the open, there could be a stray bullet to end the red.
however i have had this happen in enclosed areas with no other blueberries around.
You know the spots.
its highly annoying,
and GM dude person the magnificent,.. this game isnt losing me, huge fan, just wish i had heard of it sooner!!! what i would give to have a bit more sp before the ps3 dies and takes dust along with it
