You won't be able to use your gun but you will at least be able to walk around. Head over to a supply depot and change suits. Dunno if it works yet but in theory it should solve the problem. I usually end up having to make it to a Depot by pulling up the map every few seconds or getting a squadmate to guide me. Purifier. First Class.

If the CPM were to test and verify community solutions to problems, could they then have a Dev make a sticky thread to let the masses know that A) We are aware of said problem and B) Here is a workaround until we stomp this bug? I'll bring it up. Will be difficult to really get in motion though given how busy everyone is (and I mean that). Also I have tried the above method of escaping the black screen and it does indeed work, if not 100% of the time. Occasionally you'll have to keep doing it, but eventually you'll be out. It's happened once or twice someone couldn't pay the price, and I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals.

What I have been doing is instead of immediately trying to spawn in I wait until the game tells me I am obligated to deploy (sometimes I don't wait that long but I still wait). I assumed the file that has my mercs information was just taking its damn time to work so I figured if I gave it a little extra time to get its **** together before spawning in I would have better results. I have no idea if my assumption makes any sense but I haven't had to deal with the 'Black Screen' since I have been doing this. This is what I do for my Skirmish matches. For Acquisition I never really had an issue with the 'Black Screen' to being with so I just spawn in immediately.
