Tonight, on EU nighttime, matchmaker actually gave us matches in good speed.
Waiting times were up to 5 mins, at the lowest several times some 20s. This is great, beyond great. Really, no sarcasm!
What makes this even more spectacular, the domination mode was NOT selected! Usually it is near impossible to get into any match on EU evening/night without domination. If you do, the wait time can be 20 to 30 minutes. If Dom is on, then wait time is from 3 to 9 minutes.
But, thank you again CCP!
Whatever you did server or matchmaking wise, keep it up!
(I refuse to believe the only reason would be that people try get faster wins for the Event and hence play Ack and Amb more.)

You are smarter then that. If ccp actually fixed something they would be broadcasting it to the heavens. |

The game is incredibly random , the randomness tricks you
occasionally you will get a group of great games and it will SEEM like CCP did something wonderful
occasionally you will get a group of crap games and it will SEEM like CCP did something wonderful,
There can be exceptions but unless I get a consensus from many people I am skeptical about all matchmaking threads |

I also noticed the EOM screen doesnt freeze anymore. If you notice the camera doesnt pan around like before. Good fix dev's. I applaude you on that.

I joined a late match where my team was actually winning for once. I stayed and got a single kill and a CRU hack, I think. Not bad for the 2 min I was there. I, then, turned off the PS3.
This was 30 min ago.

No they don't despite often denying, they as often ninjatweak things.
Sometimes the tweaks are even beneficial.

The personal perception is not an issue here, I mentioned nothing of 'good' or 'bad' matches.
I saw an easily measured quantitive improvement: queue times.

FW works from an entirely different basis:
- Instead of a pool from which to form both teams, each team is formed from people searching for chosen faction
- According to original intent, FW matches generate as a result of Eve players completing complexes (not sure if true anymore)
- There is no high and low Mu bracket separation of players
- FW does not try to balance the teams, at all
