 Hi guys ! Knowing that officer gear is no more producible in the experimental lab I thought it could be great if it exists experimental dropsuits because everybody could have his experimental suit because all the variations don't exist in officer tier.
 
 I know that it may lead to experimental stomp in the future but knowing that proto stomp already exists it won't change many things...

 This is actually not a bad idea! Nothing crazy CCP, but maybe just different.
 
 May be too early for it with everything that's going on right now in terms of fixes, though.

 Experimental equipment first.
 
 Why?
 
 Post level 5 light and heavy weapons = officer and experimental
 
 Post level 5 sidearms = officer
 
 Post level 5 suits = (incomplete) officer
 
 
 So which category is missing some high value, awesome attribute, and slightly OP grade?
 
 Yep, that's right, EQUIPMENT.
 
 
 Experimental rep tool? Why yes, I will pay my logi to OP rep me.
 
 Experimental uplinks? Holy 1 second spawns Batman.
 
 Experimental scanner? Bring on the scout tears.
 
 Experimental nanohives? MUAHAHAHA Grenade spam reaches a new level.
 
 
 Put it in the warbarge at a huge drop rate and make it tradeable. I promise to upgrade and spend all my components and then some claiming.

 To combine both viewpoints:
 
 If there would be exp suits with more power, they should have a performance sacrifice embedded with them.
 
 Some rough suggestions:
 - Very highly visible (signal profile up in skies, shining like a beacon)
 - One attribute gimped (cpu(pg)
 - Longer reload time with all weapons
 - Minus-1% Less damage (gasp!)
 etc etc
 Brainstorm other ideas

 Specialist suits. Requires two racial skills to V (like pirate ships in Eve) but unlike Eve's pirate ships they're extremely specialized.
 
 All suits: Delete all high and low slots but give them decent base stats roughly equivalent to having the appropriate complex mods.
 
 Logi: Only has equipment slots, cannot fit REs. Gains the logi skill bonuses from two races.
 
 Scout: Only has equipment slots. Bonused to two non-damage stats such as - cloak time, hack speed, RE scan profile, sprint speed, etc.
 
 Assault: No equipment slots. Gets race appropriate assault bonus + another non-damage bonus like accuracy, reserve ammo, range. Maybe a reduced screen shake on incoming damage?
 
 I could go on, but I think you get the idea. Progressing towards specialization is so much more engaging that just progressing to more power as it introduces real choice.

 This might be neat but given the power core changes that are (theoretically) coming down the line Im not sure adding a new set of suits into the game is a good thing to do

 more fitting than proto, less than officer
 a bit more bonus than pro, less than officer
 
 nothing more or its op. it should keep the proto colors
 
 experimental sidearms- self explanatory
