Why is the fog a thing? You can't see anything, especially in vehicles, have you ever been gunning for a tank and then the driver flips on a hardener? It's like you enter a whole new dimension, I would seriously like to know who's idea this was and why they thought it was a good idea

Now we just need a port to get deductible structures. |

It adds a sense of realism, helps level the playing field to a degree, and from the way your complaining about it I say it must be working as intended. |

Players leave games because of fog, especially vehicle users, because when that hardener is active as I stated before you cannot see anything literally

In game it sucks but the idea for areas or levels with really dense fog is actually a very cool idea indeed. As it was shown back in the Legion tech demo had a lot of promise.
You could make some really eerie and scary locations to battle in. |

You could make some really eerie and scary locations to battle in. Personally I think some areas could be more dark, but I would like to see the tracer from the bullets be brightened so in those dark places you see flashes of gun fire across the walls, this has been something I have always wanted in dust, but the fog I don't think was the right way of aproching that concept.

The concept is good, but not the way it is displayed IG.. It's just a filter not a real fog. You can be inside a building and still have it :/

Agree with the OP about the fog. With so many issues plaguing the game in terms of mechanics I just see the fog as adding to the problem more so than it helps.
The hardener issue has always been a problem for gunner that I thought CCP were already onto? Surprised that they haven't addressed it by now?! Hardeners don't blind the vehicle operator so I see no reason why it should blind or impede the vision of the gunner.
I completely understand what CCP was going for here, but this game isn't ready in terms of game mechanics.
