Since certain corps have accumulated so much (trillions). There can not be balance. From what I'm told it will also make it impossible to ever merge the eve/dust market.
So let's just get rid of it compleatly. If you've skilled into it you can run it. It won't effect officer trade since people can just trade one thing for another. Aurum can still be bought ( for ccp's income ) to use gear you haven't skilled into yet ( same for factional ).
Apex, weapon, modual and LP bpo's could be reimbursed and used for other things like boosters and skins improving player satisfaction.
FYI. I have over a billion isk ( earned not PC 1.0 ) and my wallet grows faster by the day.

As long as dust has automatic ISK and item generation without risk, the two games will remain separate.
Dust is in the eve universe in name only.

There is always a risk in pc, you can lose the districts you control at any time, there is no guaranteed way of keeping it.

PC would just be officer/experimental playground for epeen waving. So nothing changes. Also maybe holding 20 districts nobody dares attack would stop and everyone could join in on the fun. |

Wish we a had a derivative market to invest ISK in ... maybe base it around anticipated demand for given items.
Say, for instance, you had a billion ISK to invest the day that Aeon Amadi and Sgt Kirk got elected to CPM2. You anticipate (obvious, I know) that ARs and GA Assaults will be in for an imminent buff and will experience a subsequent spike in demand. So on that day, you take a big bet and invest your billion ISK in call options for Assault G/1 which was presently value at 1 ISK (expiration in 90 days).
Here we are today; it's the middle of October and demand for Assault G/1 is through the roof. Your billion ISK investment -- should you chose to cash in your call options -- is now worth a whopping 2.5 billion!

It's the end of October, and right on time the demand for Assault G/1 is through the roof. Your billion ISK investment -- should you choose to cash in -- is now worth a whopping 2.5 billion! Do you hold onto it for a few more days? Will your investment gain even more value as you get closer to your contract's expiration? Or do you cash it in now and call it a day? Decisions, Decisions! :: You kick yourself :: You could've also bet that demand for Amarr Assaults would being in decline on the hunch that ScRs were overperforming. You could've made even more return if you'd have bought a butload of put options on Assault Ak.0s.
Talk about fun, right!?
Would currently invest in officer weapon value. Next month I would be crashing gold plated pythons covers in re's into solo merc's for fun.
